Putin-g Faith First

Politics aside, it’s fascinating to see how devout this young woman is to her religion. Even people who don’t even regard themselves as devout Catholics frequently turn to prayer after all other options have failed. We won’t pass judgment on this young Russian, though.
Maybe she felt that kneeling down at the printed and framed portrait of her country’s president was important because the political influence in Russia has dictated what many people do and how to behave around popular, rich, or powerful individuals. As per Russia Beyond, kneeling goes back to the 13th century for Russians as a sign of submission.
Ritualistic Cleaning

Jaguar is a famous alcoholic energy drink that’s commonly available in many post-Soviet countries. And well, it seems that women have a peculiar cleaning routine in this region. Kidding aside, the culture of Russians are often associated with heavy drinking.
People usually take containers of Jaguar, walk to the nearest lake, and dunk themselves in the energizing beverage. They don’t enter the lake until after that to cleanse themselves and wash away their so-called sins from the previous years. So, the question is, how many Jaguars are enough to clean the entire body?
Budgeted Trunk Traveling

When it comes to railways, the Trans-Siberian is well known for being one of the world’s longest railway lines. It’s a very practical mode of transportation for people who need to go to various areas of the big Russian country. Some people, however, simply can’t afford a train ticket, and hitchhiking is a prime example of what some of them do.
The drama doesn’t end there. Apparently, some people even take the trunk if they can’t get a decent ride or space in the front seat to their destination. It’s just unbelievable that this woman would actually fit into such a small space.
Adaptable Plan

Many people all over the world know that most parents put pressure on Russian children to succeed in whatever they attempt. For example, they begin learning to play an instrument at an early age. They are required to consistently outperform others in school and participate in a variety of extracurricular activities.
The girl in the photo is effortlessly posing because she might be into gymnastics. Apparently, the sport is one of the oldest since it has been practiced for over 2000 years and people have grown to love the game. The girl also seems to be taking her exercise seriously to make sure she makes her mother proud.
A New Pose to Try

Nowadays, it’s difficult not to see people posing for pictures everywhere, even in the riskiest places in the world. For example, when you’re just walking through the park, you’ll likely see at least five individuals snapping pictures of themselves or others.
In this era, almost everyone owns a smartphone, which also includes a little camera that is ready to capture anything even vaguely intriguing. There was no doubt that these Russian women intended to gain from this. They decided to ask someone to take a picture of them lying on each other, but the riskiest thing is that they could both fall into the water.
Beauty and Muscles

Many people know that in Russia, women don’t simply consume meat and vegetables in between exercises; they also consume enormous animals and drag tractors across the wilds of Siberia. They are simply too tough to handle; it isn’t even reasonable.
Russian ladies preserve their immaculate beauty despite packing on so much muscle and becoming tremendously muscular. We’re starting to wonder if they’re mannequins because they look a lot like them when examined closely. Although a woman can’t have muscles like a man because they lack testosterone hormone, things are different because women can also hit the gym and, after several weeks, gain muscles.
Revitalized Halloween

When puberty arrives, it appears that the once-innocent celebrations take on a more liberal tone. For youngsters, Halloween is a time to put on their favorite movie or television characters and probably go to people’s doors saying “trick or treat.” But these women decided that that day would change its whole meaning as they wore awkward outfits and went into public.
Usually, women’s intuitive clothing is centered on feeling good about themselves, and not living according to society’s rules. The four Russian women in the picture are disguised as cleaners and, wearing luminous safety vests, appear to be doing precisely that.
Beauty with Brains

Women empowerment is a phenomenon that has picked up pace across the globe. Truly speaking, Russia, a great nation, can be thought to lag behind in several areas. But no other nation compares to it in terms of empowering its women. Some still grapple with the concept, though!
When you have girls who know how to take care of themselves, it doesn’t in any way compromise the femininity of the ladies. Here, for instance, a little girl is getting ready to polish her ride by cleaning the inside of her pair of wheels. She seems to be a mechanic of repute.
Dacha Goes Modern

The practice of taking “dacha” trips, basically day trips to the countryside, is firmly embedded in Russian society. Two sisters named Dasha and Masha like the countryside, but they’ll never give up their urban flair. Talk about a perfect example of going against the Romans’ edicts while in Rome!
The duo enjoys dressing identically to look like twins. They don’t mind if their costumes seem a little out of place when they are spending time in the countryside. After all, “be ready at all times” seems to be their mantra! Their similarity in taste for clothes makes their shopping easy and faster.
It’s a Free Russia

Many teenage girls enjoy trying out new beauty ideas. Some of them go for different products that can leave them looking stunning and beautiful. However, the girl in the picture decided to do things differently as she was so impressed by the movie “Black Swan” that she decided to ride the train and even go about town wearing makeup that resembled her favorite character.
Although in Russia there are no rules for certain things, it’s just safe to state that this young girl’s gesture isn’t that common. However, there’s no harm in trying to re-embrace your favorite movie look as long as it’s not affecting people around you.
The Russian Killer Posture

This kind of fella is undoubtedly known to you even though you’re not Russian; once you’ve seen it, it’s impossible to recognize the squat and gaze posture. The Slavic squat posture is basically for comfort, but surprisingly, Russians prefer it more than sitting on a chair, which is ironic.
Gopniks are a group of sub-cultured, low-class young people who frequently spend their free time in this same posture in parks, along the roadside, or at the neighborhood liquor stores. A group of these people are usually called the Gopnik pals. According to the Strand, the Slavic squat has actually taken over the western world, and people find it comfortable.
No Better Love

Anyone who has met a Russian can attest to their fairly unique way of expressing their love for their cuisine. Like any other country in the world, these people have their own special ways of preparing their food, like hot smoked sausages and chocolate sausages.
However, we have little doubt that covering one’s head and neck with sausages is probably not the best or maybe the most hygienic way to make or showcase a meal, ignoring the fact that they take great pleasure in their ethnic food. The woman in the picture decided to make a necklace and headwrap with the sausage.
The Last Bell

Usually, the Last Bell is the term used to refer to the typical high school graduation ceremony in Russia. Since it was a big day and an achievement for the students, they decided to do things differently. For instance, graduating students wear their traditional school uniform of white aprons and white hair ribbons, which is an appearance that is highly reminiscent of French maid attire.
The culture for the momentous ceremony includes the symbolic ringing of the last bell rung by a selected first-grader. There is little doubt that these girls are relieved to have finished their coursework and examinations because they seem elated.
Socks & Sandals Trend

Yes, it’s reasonable to think that Russian society is all too familiar with the sock and sandal trending style. However, no one understands the reason behind the trend since during the harsh winter seasons, people would usually prefer to wear shoes and not sandals. Nevertheless, Maxim magazine truly outdid itself on this one.
It’s even more obvious because of the woman right by his side that perhaps this isn’t such a bad trend after all. According to Flojos, many people all over the world have taken to this style of dressing for comfort, while others reportedly take it as a sign of low style IQ.
Beauty and the Beast!

Most people associate Russia with the Kremlin, fluffy bears, and perhaps vodka. However, they also consider things like this, where a gal can just look stylish and go out for a ride with her wonderful motorbike. When the young woman paused at the traffic signal en route to her preferred mall, she attracted some attention.
The motorcycle is the first item that truly stands out in this picture. The heels are the second item that truly attracts attention, but it seems this woman is truly the brave one to dare ride a bike with a single-sole stiletto. She also needs some stronger protective gear, not just a helmet.
A War Front Kitchen

Apparently, in Russia, cooking is more than simply a hobby; it’s an activity that is full of challenges for some people. Before getting started on fixing something in the kitchen, you should be prepared to protect yourself, especially if you are cooking together with someone else.
It seems like Russians are willing to attack one another with saucepans if they argue with one another and will fling recipe suggestions at one another. “Would you like any beef stroganoff?” “Give me another Smirnoff bottle, please.” “While we cook, we prefer to drink!” These are just some of the things you’re likely to hear in a typical Russian kitchen.
An Electrifying Pool Party

Everyone here seems to agree that pool parties often get out of hand, and Russia is no exception. No one doesn’t like to have fun, but if it can cause some tragedy, better avoid it. We all wish these men knew the problem they would have gotten into if the electric extension got into contact with the pool water.
In a science class, we all learned that water is a good electrical conductor. Therefore, when these men are using the electricity gadget on the pool, they are risking their lives since they become the active electricity path to the water and then to the ground.
Love for Bread

Since Russians particularly enjoy sourdough bread because it is rich in natural amylase, which kills all bacteria and yeast, they add a specific amount of sourness to their food by leavening it with yeast, or an old piece of bread, beer, or kvas.
This unfortunate pigeon obviously loves the bread that is popular across the nation, so it chewed through all the slices and decided to wear them like jewelry around its neck. We can only hope that when she extended her wings to fly, it wasn’t too heavy. You may also conclude that it’s keeping it for the next time it feels hungry.
A Worthwhile Rollercoaster

The majority of people definitely wouldn’t list “fun” as one of the first few words when asked to characterize the Russian people. This is based on this super risky slide. The truth is that, while Russians are extremely serious, they also take some things lightly, like a pinch of salt.
Things such as educating their children, having a strong work ethic, and patriotism are what they do best, but they also know how to relax and have a good time. Here’s a photo of a certain kindergarten in Russia that, by having a multi-story slide affixed to the building’s surface, demonstrates just that.
Supreme Multitasker

How crazy can you be with your creativity? All of us have been there. Every time we attempt the unattainable, we let ourselves down. This man had only recently become a parent, and he was already having trouble finding the time to prepare for work and assist with the baby in the morning.
So, he came up with this seemingly ideal remedy for his situation. The only place you would see a man taking a bath while going to work is in Russia, but that doesn’t mean it’s legal, which is why he has been stopped by the police. He now knows better!
Kids’ Compost Site

It should be easy to take your kid to the neighborhood playground, but this place is anything but reassuring. There may have been something really unsettling at the bottom of the hole, as suggested by the deep, dark gap that lay directly at the end of the slide. It looks like a compost manure site, which isn’t ideal for children to play in.
It’s horrifying to think that kids were playing on this playground without a care in the world just before this photo was shot. Perhaps they use the slide to train the young children in some type of Russian military kindergarten.
Relax a Bit

Finding someone dressed in an unorthodox way isn’t very uncommon in a free nation like the United States. The lax social norms of behavior in the Land of the Free, however, differ from those in Russia. Even so, some natural law should apply to what one wears.
Although this man’s outfit, a leopard bodysuit, a velvet blue jacket embroidered with a regal gold motif, and too-tight leggings, is odd, as long as he feels comfortable in them, we support him. Perhaps he needs to consider those around him more. If he came from the gym, he should bring some clothing to change into after his routines.
A Rocking Shovel

We bet any time you come across a shovel, what crosses your mind is farm work and not anything related to music. Looking at this photo, it’s likely that this is what the first guitar looked like. The original guitar creators probably grappled with the best material to use to produce the best sound possible.
It has grown to be one of the world’s most loved musical instruments. However, this creation was the brainchild of a young Russian high schooler who had just started instrument lessons and couldn’t afford to buy a genuine guitar. This is definitely quite outstanding because of the creativity.
Possibility Window

It’s highly taxing to work nonstop, especially if you’re a driver of any kind. The lives of people outside or on board may be in danger. Because of this, rules have been passed in certain nations requiring professional drivers to receive at least eight hours of sleep every 24 hours before starting their next voyage.
Since hunger can cause major distraction for drivers, this McDonald’s drive-thru window in a Russian subway comes to their aid. What’s perplexing is how small and low the window is. In fact, we see trailer drivers struggling to reach down for their orders from their high-placed seats.
Off the Rails

You do a lot of crazy things you never imagined you would when you are young and in love. It’s difficult to nail down exactly what causes you to lose all sense of reality and plunge headfirst into the abyss of an incredibly promising relationship. But first love frequently ends in grief and despair.
For this reason, it’s wise to avoid going too far and risking your life for your first love. This picture literally shows what we mean. Probably first-time lovers, this couple decided to experiment with their lives. As much as it may be thrilling, it’s never a wise move!
Bear Horse Race

While other nations, like England, may prefer the conventional horseback racing that has a jockey, it appears that Russia has entirely different regulations. It’s difficult to believe this image is unaltered. At least we are aware that photoshopping has fostered an idealized society of unattainable beauty.
Additionally, proponents of animal rights can complain and say that this is a blatant instance of animal cruelty. But it wouldn’t surprise us if the bears somehow managed to mount the horses. The cute horses presumably raced off into the distance after becoming startled by the bears riding on their backs. Fortunately, the horses weren’t turned into meals.
A Washing Dog House

This person vowed to build a doghouse for their new furry friend, but he never seemed to get around to it. There was always something more important that needed to be done around the house, like getting rid of their outdated washing machine and repairing the breach in the net that surrounded their lawn.
He finally connected the dots and developed a wonderfully original approach that checked off every item on his to-do list. He must have learned the hard way that keeping some promises is a must and a hard task. At least that’s a burden he shook off his shoulders; onto the next one!
Old Is Gold

Many men continue fishing their entire lives without realizing they are not pursuing fish of any kind, as poet and historian Henry David Thoreau famously observed. This proverb appears to apply to the man in the image as well, as he plainly experienced motion sickness at the mere notion of putting his sailing days behind him.
The phrase “Once a captain, always a captain” perhaps fits this elderly Russian guy who’s living proof of that. The dilapidated-looking apartment oddly still has tenants despite its clear need to vacate for proper repair. The former captain should probably lead the way for the rest to follow.
Porch Issues

The ultimate goal for many individuals is to relax at the end of a hard day with a drink in one hand and a nice book in the other. In today’s world, where finding a tiny bit of peace and quiet seems to be so tough, building a porch outside your home appears to be a guarantee of some type of delicious getaway.
However, this porch is particularly peculiar because it’s located on the building’s side with no door serving as an entry point. More disturbing is the fact that its columns are made out of wood, not the usual brick and mortar.
Safety First

You are effectively putting your life in the hands of strangers whenever you use any type of public transit. You feel secure knowing that an official would never jeopardize your life or the lives of others to save a few dollars because of the trusting nature of the connection.
Infuriatingly, this seems to be not at all the situation, as seen in this image. Since this train obviously needs fixing, it is hardly a case of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” It would be advisable for passengers to avoid it like the plague until such a time it’s properly fixed.
Shoestring Drink

At first sight, it appears like David Bowie got a bit carried away at one of his concerts. And that he invited a fan who was too eager to leave the audience on stage to have a short gulp of vodka courage. The sight is perplexing and unhygienic for someone to have done it to their friend.
A closer inspection reassures us that the singer’s doppelganger is simply a Russian woman using a shoe as a funnel to pour a drink into her friend’s mouth. They both appear to be enjoying themselves, although we would personally like to sip straight from the bottle.
If You Ski Together…

Weddings often turn out to be such happy events. A couple that has found genuine love has decided to publicly announce that they want to spend the rest of their lives together, surrounded by those they cherish. As usual, every couple intending to have a ceremony normally chooses their garments based on a theme or what they love the most.
However, this specific couple wanted to commemorate not just their love for one another but also their preferred sport, skiing. As a result, they wore ski gear with matching scarves, gloves, and a beanie in addition to the customary bridal outfit and tuxedo.
Carrot-filled Bath Present

Showering your lover with gifts needs some thinking outside the box. For some people, it’s easy because their partners aren’t that extravagant. It seems the only carat this Russian girl desired was an edible one, unlike some ladies who would need a sparkly new ring to feel pampered and valued.
For months, her new husband had been preparing to surprise her with a bathtub filled with her favorite vegetable: carrots. Simply said, it took him some time to collect so many of them. She was over the moon when she awoke on Saturday morning, went outside to the garden, and saw this magnificent surprise.
Clamping a Beast

The difficulty of parking might increase if the road is too narrow. In fact, you’ll often find yourself at loggerheads with the local authorities if you park wrongly in such a place. However, it appears that this specific tank cannot employ this defense to support how it’s parked.
Tanks should not be parked in the middle of the road, and they take up a lot of space on the sidewalk. The fact that the tank might easily run over the clamp, however, appears to have escaped the person who put the gear on it. A simple ticket would do just fine here!
Is There Stopping?

The “Star Cast” ensemble once famously sang that it’s all about what you do with it, and not what you have. It’s likely that the owners of this GAZ Volga, a Soviet-era car manufacturer, had had enough of their worn-out vehicle. They felt it needed some sprucing up.
So, they decided to add another set of wheels to the vehicle and upgrade them all to 4X4 Jeep wheels to liven things up. Luckily, being Russians, they had the leeway to do that. If you can’t spruce up your ride in Russia, you can completely change the look of the one you have.
A Marine Gift

If you’re planning to surprise your girlfriend with a unique present, you need to avoid certain things. Say you’re giving her a piece of jewelry or a necklace; don’t mention where you got it from. If you must, it’s generally better not to imply that you just fished the item out of the neighboring lake.
The guy went the extra mile to attach a thread to the fish. We must admit that the girl in the image doesn’t appear to be upset in any way, so perhaps presenting marine animals as gifts is traditional in Russia, but we’re certain that she isn’t pleased with the fish smell…
Hell has Nothing on Me!

Unless you’re in Africa or other tropical regions, you’re likely to face extreme cold weather at some point in the year. The winters in Russia may be extremely lengthy and freezing cold. Starting in September, the weather in Moscow grows progressively colder each day; at its worst, the temperature might dip as low as -13°F!
Russians frequently decide to wear fur to be warm since they have developed a certain resilience to the cold. When the cold became intolerable, this man had a different plan in mind to beat it. He sat down in the middle of the blaze to truly experience the warmth from within.
Block Security Services

If your automobile had been stolen more than once, you would undoubtedly look for other security measures to make sure it would never be stolen again. It’s terribly frustrating to leave your car somewhere and discover afterward that it has vanished. For example, the rate of private vehicles increased by nearly 20% between 2015 and 2020 in Russia.
It’s likely that people definitely wouldn’t have ever purchased vehicles in the first place if it weren’t for insurance! However, from this picture, the Russian owner of this automobile likely lacks insurance. They had to rethink its security, so bricks were placed inside of it to deter theft.
Generational Divide

Some countries in the world struggle greatly with generational gaps in their populace. The generational divide in Russia is at its widest point ever. The woman seen in this photo, appears to have come downstairs simply to relax on the bench, possibly to read a book or to unwind.
Even so, there’s one Russian custom that perhaps everyone needs to know. The daily “babushka,” which is basically a gathering that takes place downstairs on the benches. Although it doesn’t appear like Maria is offended by the intrusion, the “babushkas” may not agree with her choice of clothing, or even with other things about her too.
As Cold as Ice

Russia has some of the best and most competitive sportsmen and women in the world. They participate in various disciplines, from mild to extreme sports. Some of the well-known over-the-edge games they participate in include weight lifting and heavy object pulling. While some people may be surprised by women participating in such games, Russians find it normal.
They find it common because Russian women are as tough as they come, just like the one in the picture. She’s not only showing extreme strength by lifting the big truck, but she’s doing so effortlessly under icy and muddy conditions. She doesn’t look like someone breaking a sweat.
Unique But One

If you’ve traveled the world, you’ve probably encountered people and behaviors that appear strange to you. Russia has individuals that stand out just like that and don’t make it their life’s goal to blend in, just like in any other nation. The people that make up the country in their individuality symbolize all the hues and shades of the rainbow.
This woman is the ideal illustration of what we’re talking about. She didn’t want a conventional wedding dress because she isn’t a traditional woman. This makes complete sense to us. But to her very conventional and conservative folks, it could mean a different thing.
Stylish Policing

In Russia, expectations for women are significantly different. One might wish to become a police officer so they can fight crime in their city and bring offenders to justice. Some jobs provide the greatest honor and accomplishment, especially if they are done for one’s country. One of them is policing, which many women, at times, shy away from.
On the other hand, if you’re going to be an officer in Russia, get ready to do it with style. These officers only require a catwalk-worthy outfit and a baton for self-defense. This enables other women to feel secure while they walk their infants down the seafront.
Made in Russia

The majority of us are unlikely to become helicopter owners in our lifetimes. The day of customs-flying automobiles is coming, but the Russians don’t want to wait that long! Basically, every country is doing its best to promote locally made things. So, it’s not Russia alone on this! It’s important to exploit locally available resources and talent to grow a nation.
This Russian suburbanite, ever the inventive one, decided to create his own flying helicopter using an old automobile and what appeared to be some spare helicopter parts. We hope it actually functions! In any case, personal transportation could be a thing of the future!
Caged Golden Generation

Although most of us have learned to be patient with the elderly, we are all aware of how annoying they can be at times. That is undoubtedly true in Russia, but this farmer appeared to have had enough of these two elderly women.
We’re not sure if he’s just mad at them or just attempting to protect them. Even though Russians have freedom of movement and passport-free travel in over 117 countries, they are still using the traditional caging style. They may have offered them a lift to the farm, or he was probably headed their way and the cage was the only available space.
Knowledge for the Brave Hearted

When a teacher enters the room, some schools may mandate that pupils stand up and address them with the highest respect. Other schools could use entirely different strategies, including requiring students to address instructors by their first names. Either way, the adopted strategies all worked towards reinforcing discipline.
When pupils misbehave, Russian teachers discipline them in a totally unusual way. For instance, the teacher may decide to instruct them to stand against the wall just like in this picture, with their hands behind their backs. We guess it doesn’t seem so horrible to be in detention now, does it? The more they stand, the more stiff their joints become.
Everything Is Useful

When you visit Russia, you will discover some really intriguing things. The citizens of this lovely nation, for instance, use their garbage for something a little different: sunbathing. Yes, you heard us correctly, they sunbathe on waste in the open fields.
The good thing is, we can’t picture this happening that frequently as Russia experiences a significant portion of the year in darkness and cold. As per NPR, people there usually get around 18 hours of sunlight for the month. Knowing this, we can’t blame this young girl for wanting some typical Russian sunbathing. We just don’t get the trash.
Ballet Dedication

Russia is known for two things: the Kalashnikov gun, aka AK47, and the ballet dance, as stated in the movie “Bolshoi Babylon.” The nation is noted for having a physique that adheres to the aesthetic standards of classical principles and for having exceptional and exquisite training. No wonder it has excellent athletes.
The Russians are the owners of traditional dances and execute them with athleticism and passion, even though their choreography isn’t as inventive as one would expect. In the image above, a student is seen going through her daily stretches while at school. She’s that dedicated to the profession.
Tasty Mayonnaise for Lunch

Even though this meal would probably not make it through the first round of the popular cooking competition show “Master Chef,” it’s a loved delicacy in Russia. Its presentation needs a deeper understanding in the first place. Foreigners may not take it in immediately like locals.
In actuality, the majority of Russian food consists of meat or vegetables that have been slathered in sour cream or mayonnaise. Since sandals are so popular in the nation, this particular style of cheese sandal was prepared. In fact, many Russians prefer to wear their sandals with socks as opposed to closed-toe shoes.
Perfectly Poised

According to statistics, over 370 million people own cats worldwide, and over 22 million of them are Russians. From the results, it turned out that Russians were the most ardent cat owners. In fact, more than half of the responders from Russia had cats. Then they must be lovely creatures to keep around in the country!
When asked why this is the case, scientists said that it’s because of cultural idiosyncrasies. Many feline owners hold different beliefs. According to one correspondent, the word “train” signifies forcing an animal to do something. So, they don’t “train” their cats since you can’t compel them to do anything they don’t want to.
Fashion in the Know

Although Milan may be the world’s fashion center, these images of Russian street style show otherwise. They demonstrate, in a perfect example, that people in Eastern Europe also prefer to express themselves via their clothing. And they distinctively do that.
By dragging her locks through the hole in her blouse, the girl wearing the denim jacket, for instance, is obviously experimenting with a new hairdo. The other image may be a bit too obscene for some, but we all probably remember when sweatpants from the Juicy brand with the logo sewn on them were the biggest fad and everybody wanted one.
