Singlehood Isn’t Fun

While 2.4 million lovebirds each year say their vows in the United States, the single population is still significant. This makes it a bit uncomfortable for some when it is mandatory to come with a plus one to events and family gatherings.
However, the fun part is when couples show off their affection for one another in public, like in this picture. Their single counterparts are then left to try and act like they are unconcerned with the happenings around them. Though the woman in red seemed to be trying her best to appear undeterred, her face gave her away.
Hey! There are Children Here

Removing the garter has become a popular custom in marriage ceremonies. Meant to symbolize a piece of the bride’s lucky charm, it has evolved to be a sort of male version of the bouquet toss. As it happens, the groom removes the garter from his wife’s legs and tosses it to the bachelors at the ceremony. The belief is that whichever lucky bachelor catches it will be next in line for marriage.
Perhaps someone should have taken the time to explain the custom to the mortified little girl in the corner. Maybe she would have better understood what her terrified eyes were witnessing.
The Wait Is Over!

It’s not news that some brides don’t eat anything on the morning of their big day. Different forms of fasting are often employed for weight loss, but this has also crossed over into a pre-marital tradition. Some people fast and restrict their meals so they can be at an ideal weight for their big day.
This newlywed used the technique and was all too happy to finally be eating a meal of her choice. As if one bun wasn’t enough, she had another in her other hand. A true testament to what she must have endured to look the part.
Making The Most Of The Storm

Storms are known to be quite hazardous, with winds gusting strong enough to cause damage to bridges, vehicles, and buildings. Hence, it’s surprising the bride still wanted to have a shot taken even though her handheld umbrella had already been pulled inside-out and her entire outfit ruined.
All the same, she got what she wanted: a memorable photo of her big day. While it’s safe to guess the event was interrupted by the storm, which is evident in her rain-soaked white frock and bare feet, she still seemed happy. At least that charming smile shows she’s having a great time.
Our Action Movie Scene

While this might have been an unfortunate incident on a beautiful day, these two figured there was a silver lining: a touch of adventure. As such, turning it into a photo shoot with the hope of capturing the moment was a welcome idea.
While the man, on the one hand, is barefoot with an indifferent expression on his face, his wife is quite the opposite—as beautiful as she can be with a charming smile that contrasts with the scenery. On the other hand, the background is more eye-catching with a 1967 Volkswagen burning. Considering the beetle’s battery stays beneath the backseat, it’s a mystery how the fire started.
The Ceremonial Bull

While bulls are known to be adamant, they are also assumed to be aggressive with the color red. This would raise the question of why this one is here, as there is no provoking color in this scene.
However, bulls are partially color blind and are not aggravated by any colors. They are just irritated by some movements that might come off as threatening to them. So, in this scene, the bull in question might have been previously out to just graze before running into these two. But the couple didn’t seem to be taking it lightly. You can never be too careful.
In Your Face
Roses are considered one of the most popular flowers today, but it wasn’t until the 17th century in Europe that their popularity peaked. They were taken as legal tender at the time and used as payment to royalty. Also, the aesthetics and fragrance have earned more fame as you would find them in almost every romantic setting.
For example, for this typical ceremony, the customary ritual of throwing flower petals in the aisle, roses come into perfect use, though it ended in the bride’s face. But, while that might have been uncomfortable, she still seems to be having a swell time.
A Special Appearance

People like to be original with their weddings and go outside the norm. So, this couple decided to have their special day at an aquarium, but they couldn’t have planned or imagined the surprise they would get. A unique guest decided to pop up while their photos were being taken.
A beluga whale appeared and decided to be part of the photos. Beluga whales are social creatures and like to interact with humans. So, it’s no surprise they want to be in photos. They can also mimic human speech to an extent. Oh, and the groom looked dashing in his Scottish kilt.
The Trident Of Neptune

While this picture looks like any regular pair’s picture featuring a cute couple at the center, other ongoings can be seen in the background. Maybe it was just a staged appearance, evident in the knowing smile on the couple’s faces, or perhaps it was a surprise.
Either way, that is Jason Momoa in the background, and he is holding what is known as the Trident of Neptune in his right hand. The same artifact is a major feature of the 2018 action thriller “Aquaman” and its 2023 sequel. This would probably be one of the most memorable photoshoots for the couple.
An Unplanned Swim

There are countless locations worldwide where wedding ceremonies on a boat are nothing novel. Some include Florida, Georgia, Antigua, Bermuda, Portugal, and others. Taking a canoe ride on their big day must not have seemed like a hassle for these two.
It turns out it didn’t go as planned. The supposed romantic ride quickly turned into an unplanned swim for the duo. It was more like a swim for safety as they seemed to struggle to hold on to something for fear of drowning or ruining their outfits. From the look of things, the latter might have been the case.
Having A Good Time

Women prefer not to ruin their efforts to look great, especially during their big day. Why? Good bridal makeup takes about 60 to 90 minutes to get done. Hence, they prefer not to risk the chance of ruining it with tears or drinks on that day.
However, it seems these two didn’t mind getting things started. They were more for the fun part of the ceremony. Because what’s the point of your big day if you can’t at least feel good? It turns out two bottles of white wine were a perfect way to loosen up for the lady of the day.
Pugs Being Pugs

Pugs are one of the oldest breeds of dogs around. But behind that ancient royalty is one playful pet. This is why they are nicknamed clowns. As such, this couple would have their hands full, taking care of this one.
Also, pugs find it quite challenging to give up their playful nature, whether it’s a photoshoot like this one or something more profound. They always know how to find a distraction that keeps them acting like themselves. Like in this case, this pug suddenly developed a taste for flowers. Along with their playful nature, they are also known to be pretty loyal.
Failed Jump Mission

Wedding days are filled with so much excitement and fun; when you’re with the right kind of people, things can get a little too crazy. This man got to pay a very high price for some fun; what may be the worst migraine he will ever have.
During the event, a group of people decided it would be best to throw the groom into the air. They didn’t check how high the ceiling was as they threw him so high he hit the top. While 50 percent of people with migraines don’t realize they have them, this man certainly will notice his.
The Veil In The Way

From the look on the groom’s face, he isn’t planning on letting anything ruin his perfect day. Not even a large sheet of chiffon material wrapped around his face, which made him appear to be suffocated. On the other hand, his partner is having a bit of a laugh. Quite the pair!
The veil in question is a Roman-induced marital rite that has been known to represent modesty and purity over the years. This is why it is worn to cover the bride’s face to represent her purity. However, there’s no guide explaining what it means when it goes on the groom’s face!
Nature’s Call

Although the little flower girl and ring bearer at any marriage might appear to be just an addition to the ceremony, they play an important role in the event. They are there to represent the transformation of the couple from childhood to adulthood. But, it seems this little boy had other things in mind.
He must have been pretty pressed to have let himself go in the open to the amusement of his parents. That’s probably why it’s called “nature’s call.” Because while you might have all the etiquette, when you are faced with a situation where you are pressed, it’s almost hard to ignore.
The Accident

While the cake is a beautiful addition to marriages, it also has a unique symbolization: good fortune and fertility. Also, the extra layer on ceremonial cakes represents prosperity. However, the macaron addition is a contemporary trend. Furthermore, although macarons could probably last several days without going stale, they are not “fall-proof.”
That is probably why this couple would have done anything to keep their cake from crashing to the floor on their big day. Additionally, the contrast in the looks on their faces is noteworthy. Because the bride seems horrified based on the impending accident, the groom couldn’t be more amused.
A New Concept

Considering the essence of the groomsmen and bridesmaids at the marriage ceremony is to provide support to the couple, these people sure played their roles well. Helping the pair set up this dramatic scene must have been quite a hassle, but it came out perfectly.
Wedding photography is not cheap and could cost as much as $4,000. With an elaborately planned shot such as this, the photographer might have walked home with something closer to five figures. While an argument could be made about not wasting a perfectly good cake for a staged shot, the people involved looked like they were enjoying themselves, especially the couple.
The Wrong End To A Beautiful Fantasy

Unicorns are one of the oldest mythical creatures. Aside from being old, they are also considered one of the purest breeds of animals. Their blood is pure enough to assume it could probably be a healing elixir for almost any illness. Mythical as that might be, it has led many to fantasize about owning one.
Regrettably, some of these fantasies are taken too seriously. A good example is this scenario. While it is not clear what the entire scope of the bride’s plan was, it involved riding a unicorn. Unfortunately, her fantasy didn’t end well, as the decorated horse threw her off midway.
Crashing a Beach Wedding

Most beach marriages are done for one of two reasons. The first is for the romantic setting, and the second is for a reduction in the cost of paying for a venue. However, if it’s for the former, it’s more delicate. Because such a couple would not take it lightly if a landing paraglider crashed on their romantic scenery.
That is probably why most couples leave out the embarrassing details of their marital stories. No one wants to recount how their beautiful day turned unpleasant. At least the colors of the paraglider matched the wedding theme colors. Maybe it was planned!
Discount Wedding

Everyone likes to be part of a great love story, which is why marriages are such a big deal, no matter their size or place. People seem to love being part of a couple’s big day and wish them all the best in the next step of their lives.
However, this couple chose to say their vows at the dollar store. They probably wanted a ceremony that cost just a dollar, like everything else in a Dollar Tree store. The franchise maintains a price point of one Dollar for all items. Only the couple can say why they chose to have their ceremony there!
Not As Strong

It’s pretty common for the groom to lift his bride after they have said their vows. Sometimes, other couples like to join in and have some fun, but that just leaves out the single folks. This coordinated pose was doomed to fail even before they took their places.
Sadly, the single ladies weren’t up to the task but didn’t want to be left out. A simpler stance that took them into consideration would have been better, but they still tried their best. The woman gave her best with the strength she could muster, but we hope the fall wasn’t so bad.
It’s Not A Free Throw

Wedding photos are meant to be fun and are sometimes goofy. The bridesmaids had an interesting idea for their poses, taking inspiration from throwing hats at graduation ceremonies. The sanctimonious act began in 1912 at the Naval Academy to symbolize graduates becoming full-fledged Naval Officers. So, they opted to throw their bouquets, but you can imagine what happened.
Almost all of them missed catching their bouquets, except one person who managed to catch hers upside down. This wasn’t a free throw; we imagine it’s not that hard to throw and catch a bouquet. A little practice would help enhance their throwing and catching skills.
Snacking On The Bouquet

We all love going through cute and adorable wedding photos, especially those with interesting themes like nature. For this couple, things got very exciting when they decided to have their photoshoot in the wild and attracted a photobomber. A deer not only strolled into their frame but proceeded to snack on the fresh bouquet in the bride’s hand.
Deer love fresh flowers and will eat just about any kind, with a few exceptions, of course. Deer are also attracted to fresh flowers because of their scent, just like people. The bouquet probably had some favorite flower choices for the deer.
Weddings Aren’t His Thing

The truth is, not everyone is a fan of weddings, including animals. This was the case when a dog crashed a beach ceremony and registered his distaste for such traditions. For the couple, they were having their ideal wedding in front of loved ones.
Dogs are known to pee as a sign of submission or excitement, but that may not have been the case for this guy. He provided comic relief for everyone and went about his business. We guess he’d prefer to remain a bachelor for the rest of his days, wandering the beach shores in hopes of something more exciting than marriage.
Wiping Snot

Marriage ceremonies are considered big days for many couples. It’s also the day couples feel they can get away with a few things, like having a long wedding gown train. Long marital trains originated in Medieval times and were a way of showing wealth. The tradition has since become standard practice for people regardless of their wealth.
Even though lengthy trains serve no practical function, newlyweds like this love to use them to dazzle guests. However, this could have repercussions, such as when the boy used it as his handkerchief. We can only imagine how uncomfortable he must have been.
A Failed Stunt Attempt

Like we’ve said, couples like to be extra with their photos. We’re not exactly sure what the shoot’s concept was, but it appears a mini driving stunt with a golf cart was in the works. Using golf carts for driving stunts isn’t advisable, as they can only go about 15 miles per hour.
It can be quite dangerous, and the carts often end up being damaged. Unfortunately, the stunt didn’t go as planned and he only ended up crashing the golf cart while also managing to ruin his outfit. It takes professional drifters about 12 months of consistent practice, which explains this epic fail.
What An Invite

Wedding invitations are part of the whole experience and were only for the elite during the 1400s before becoming available to everyone after WWII. A couple devised a smart way of sending an invitation that excluded some guests from their marriage ceremony. While there was no space to accommodate these guests, they still needed their help.
They were bold enough to turn them away and ask for financial aid all in the same letter. They are undoubtedly audacious and know what they need. On the other hand, the venue could have been at full capacity, and they were just being honest.
Calming the Nerves

Jittery nerves and sometimes cold feet are all standard for couples before the big moment. These feelings can get more intense as the time approaches, and certain things could exacerbate the situation. Some people handle this stress by performing calming activities like meditation or taking a sip of herbal tea.
This wife-to-be, however, chose to have a few sips of alcohol instead. While alcohol is considered almost a necessity at any marriage ceremony, it should be consumed in moderation, especially if you are the bride or groom. Slurring one’s vows at the altar is not a good look for anyone.
Couldn’t Care Less

There’s usually a clear difference between having a wedding photoshoot in the countryside and the city. One such difference is the fact that the city is ever busy. The couple had a great photoshoot concept, but the people of this dynamic city couldn’t be bothered. It was business as usual for everyone else.
They only had a few seconds to take pictures, as it takes about three to 15 seconds for the crosswalk signal to change. The photographer would have to edit the photo, masking the other pedestrians to get the perfect shot. At least they would still get their ideal photo shoot.
It’s Not What it Looks Like

Attending church for a sermon is usually part of the marriage ceremony. What people choose to wear is up to them, but decency is appreciated. These ladies were wearing tube gowns, which have their origin from a genuine manufacturing mistake. The discovery has had an enigmatic effect on pop culture, and it caused quite a stir at this ceremony.
It makes more sense to assume these women were all on the bridal train since they all had the same wardrobe malfunction. While tube tops and gowns may be trendy, a simple scarf around their back would have prevented the misinterpretation.
The Tired Little Bride

Children can be very hyperactive until they get tired. Sometimes, long marriage ceremonies can wear them out, like this tired little girl. The poor child was so exhausted that she couldn’t sit still for the photograph. She was not shy about letting her distaste be known.
Using “little brides” is said to have begun in ancient Rome to bless the couple with fertility by spreading herbs on the aisle. This little girl couldn’t care less, though. We can only imagine the boredom she must have endured up until this point. She may be a little embarrassed when she sees the family photo album.
A Royal Disturbance

Anyone would have killed to be a part of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s marriage ceremony, but three-year-old Grace van Cutsem certainly did not share that sentiment. A bridesmaid for the day, she did not hold back from expressing her true feelings when the Duke and Duchess shared a kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Her expression and the hands over her ears are enough to tell anyone this little one would have much preferred to spend her day at home playing with friends or watching cartoons. Speaking of this royal event, did you know that Middleton did her own makeup on this special day?
A Cake Nightmare

Cakes are often essential parts of a marriage ceremony. Since the first tiered cake for marriage ceremonies was made in 1858 for Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter, there have been a lot of improvements in cake making. However, some bakers take it to the extreme and bake incredible cakes with great ease.
This newlywed couple could not have imagined that their cake would end up on the floor. At least the woman managed to find the whole situation hilarious. Fun fact about marriage cakes, they used to be pies known as “bride’s pie,” not cakes, up until the early 19th century.
This Little Photobomber

Cats are possibly the most hilarious creatures ever. However, that’s not all they are. They are the biggest attention seekers you’ll ever find. To those who often ask what it’s like to have a cat, here you go.
It may have been this couple’s wedding day, but that didn’t stop their furry friend from wanting all eyes on it. It probably saw the camera and jumped to the center-right on time, completely stealing the show. In fact, you can barely see the pair in this photo. This cat won’t be forgotten anytime soon. Fun fact, there are over 500 million pet cats worldwide.
What’s A Wedding Without High Jumps?

Pictures last a lifetime, so it’s understandable when people go to great lengths to ensure they look good. However, this man decided to go the opposite way. Meet Tyler Foster, the famous jumping groomsman.
When he decided to jump while a picture was taken at his cousin’s marriage ceremony in Jamaica, he did not expect to hit the bridesmaid and rip his pants while at it. He also didn’t expect to go viral after he posted this picture on Reddit, but all of that happened. Speaking of photographs, did you know that the first photo of a person was taken by accident?
On A Strict Diet Of Gown

Who doesn’t love wedding gowns? They are too gorgeous not to love. It seems this dog may love them most of all. It wasn’t satisfied with just looking at it; it needed to get a taste of it to appreciate it.
This newlywed couple learned this the hard way when they involved their dogs in their ceremony. Did you know that women wore their best Sunday wear for their marriage ceremonies until Queen Victoria wore a white gown in 1840 when she married Prince Albert? Without the queen, there probably would not have been any white gown for this dog to chew on.
Everything Was Good Until The Kiss

To this day, there are arguments about whether kissing is an instinctive or learned behavior. There have also been conversations about the history of kissing, with the earliest reference dating back to about 3,500 years ago. However, none of that matters because it won’t stop these newlyweds from kissing.
For some reason, this little boy did not enjoy the act and was not hesitant to express that. He’ll probably look back at this picture one day when he is much older and have a good laugh at himself when he finds out that kissing is beneficial to a person’s health.
Up In The Wedding Tree

Every family has a designated clown who takes it upon themselves to make everyone laugh. It seems this family clown wanted to take things up a notch, so he ditched the formal outfit and decided to show up in a hysterically funny costume for a marriage ceremony.
However, it did not end there. He decided to photobomb the family pictures by going up to the tree they used as a background. Even if they forget some parts of their wedding, we doubt the newlyweds would forget this, as clowns are so memorable they have an international week all to themselves.
Proof That Nose Picking Can Be Cute

In the past, flower girls were meant to carry wheat and herbs down the aisle to symbolize fertility for newly wedded couples. However, this changed during the 16th century when people started using flower petals instead. On the other hand, these little flower girls only attended this ceremony to steal hearts.
Hilariously, one of them seemed to forget she was at an elegant event and picked her nose. That only made the guests love her even more. As surprising as it may seem, historically, flower girls weren’t the only roles played by children; they could be in the wedding party too.
Angles Matter
Every story has different sides, just as there are other angles to every picture. At first glance, you might think this bride is actually a centaur. Even after a second look, you still might not realize that she’s only sitting on a horse.
If you didn’t know, centaurs are creatures from Greek mythology. They have the upper body of a human and the lower body and legs of a horse. They have been represented in numerous artworks, including classical, medieval, and modern art, and the same holds true with literature. Speaking about horses, did you know that horses sleep standing up?
Horsing Around

It is not uncommon for couples to take many pictures on their wedding day. It’s only because they want to capture their special day with family and friends as much as possible. Sometimes, they may forget to include a friend or two, and this usually hurts.
This horse saw that some pictures were being taken right in front of him, so he joined, uninvited. We don’t doubt his lightning-fast reflexes helped with this either. However fast horses may be, that’s not the only interesting thing about them. Did you know that horses used to be the same size as golden retrievers?
Slippery Slope

Group photos can be fun, but they can also go wrong, and this picture is proof. The wedding crew in this group was hoping to capture the moment in a lovely lakeside photo, but they were unaware of how slippery the ground was.
Although some people claim that this man destroyed the photo for everyone, we think he made it even more exciting! Just look at how much joy is captured in this image. Out of the 95 million photos uploaded daily on Instagram and the over 300 million photos uploaded to Facebook daily, this one will undoubtedly make you laugh today.
Seaside Mishap

There’s no denying that having a wedding at the seaside is magical. However, it may come with its own challenges, including the possibility of your guests sinking. These newlyweds discovered this the hard way when they found themselves struggling to get out of the water while they were on the dock.
Wooden floating docks generally don’t last long and always need routine checks, so opting to use them for special ceremonies like this is always a risky choice. If you were planning to have a lakeside ceremony, experts advise that you get a professional lifeguard on hand to avoid mishaps.
A Champagne-Induced Wardrobe Malfunction

Although a western tradition, using bridesmaids seems to have taken the world by storm. Traditionally, they are usually close friends or family members of the bride and are to assist her. From the look of things, these women were so excited to be playing such a huge role in their loved one’s special day that they decided to enjoy themselves with a bit of champagne.
Well, you can see for yourself how that ended. Regardless, a little champagne never hurts, even when it’s not in you but on you. Who wouldn’t love this sparkling wine when one bottle has about 49 million bubbles?
A Bloody Affair

Although they are a popular myth, many believe vampires exist, and pictures like this further prove them right. Look at that, two vampires in love! You may not like vampires, but these two love them. Why else would they be eating a red cake?
Vampires gained more popularity in 1897 after the publication of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, and the book became the basis of modern vampire stories. Because of books like this, we know that garlic and silver are well-known weapons for killing vampires. We don’t doubt this couple took the initiative, eliminated all things silver, and ensured garlic wasn’t included in their ceremony.
