Dolly Parton is a singer and an actress who has made many albums, for instance, Blue Smoke, Just Because I’m A Woman, and Jolene. She is a country singer who is widely heard all across the world and it is natural that she has won accolades and awards for her talent. As she is semi-retired from the industry, she recently signed another movie called Dumplin‘ which shows that she is not ready to back down yet. Diana Serra Cary, popularly known as Baby Peggy, is one of the three most famous American child stars—and the last living film star—of the Hollywood silent movie era. The actress made more than 150 short films for the Century Film Corporation. She received more than a million fan letters in 1922 and was called ‘The Million Dollar Baby’ because of her $1.5-million annual salary. However, she found herself poor and working as an extra by the 1930s. She went into retirement in 1938.

Caren Marsh-Doll – 99, Unknown Net Worth

Caren Marsh-Doll was Judy Garland’s stand-in for The Wizard of Oz and Ziegfeld Girl. She never found fame as an actress despite her best efforts, so she became a dance instructor instead in 1956. Today, Marsh-Doll lives her life away from the public’s eye. British by birth, Angela Lansbury became a naturalized citizen of the US in 1951. She found success there on Broadway—where she is well known for Meme, Gypsy, and Sweeney Todd—as well as on television and the big screen. Her classic movies are still being watched to this day. Her dedication to her career paid off as she is now worth millions, and is able to own a $2-million property in pricey New York City.

Jill St. John – 77, $10 Million

Shirley Eaton was not the only ‘Bond girl’ to have earned fame in Hollywood. Jill St. John appeared in Diamonds Are Forever. The movie must have been a massive success for Jill because it seems she dived straight into retirement planning after the film’s release. Cora Sue Collins grew up in front of her audiences. She gained popularity as a child actress, and she warmed the hearts of many with her performances. In her resumé, she has many credits to her name, like The Painted Veil, Rebecca, Julius Caesar, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Though she might have long secured a senior’s health insurance, she continues to act and earn her keep.

Sharon Gless – 75, $10 Million

The best thing that ever happened to Sharon Gless was when she landed a role in Switch in the ‘70s. She gained exposure and popularity from her performance and she managed to maintain her success in the following decades. Her most recent acting credit was in 2017, where she appeared in Casualty. It’s a good thing she didn’t listen to her family, who discouraged her from pursuing an acting career – else she wouldn’t have $10 million to her name today! Even with graying hair, she’s still active in showbiz.

Tina Louise – 84, $6 Million

Tina Louise started out as many film actors and actresses do, as a stage actress. Newmar never remarried after a failed marriage, and she has only one child – who is afflicted with Down syndrome.

Gary Burghoff– 75, $6 Million

TV star Garry Burghoff is still standing strong and has kept his name up since its rise in popularity after his leading role in M*A*S*H. It takes quite a bit of effort to keep a standing from the ‘80s till today, but Garry achieved it though he hasn’t acted since 2010. Interestingly, he takes credit for the invention of a fishing tackle designed to attract fish to a boat, and also for the invention of a toilet seat with a lifting handle. Crazy!

Jane Fonda – 80, $200 Million

The beautiful Jane Fonda is a woman who we all know and love for her excellent acting abilities and her natural comedic nature. She certainly hasn’t announced any plans of retiring yet, and it seems she won’t be likely to do so any time soon – despite her age of 80! She still acts and we are willing to bet that the moment she is on the cast, a movie is many times as likely to be watched! The fitness Queen still has it indeed!

Gavin MacLeod – 87, $10 Million

Gavin MacLeod’s most notable role in TV was in The Love Boat as ‘Captain Stubing.’ He is also known for his performances in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and McHale’s Navy. He has built a $10-million fortune, which is certainly no small change! When he isn’t raking in dough for his acting, he’s devoting time to religious activism and Christian preaching. MacLeod battled alcohol addiction and his determination and faith have saved him.

Star Trek would not have been the same without the iconic performance of William Shatner, portraying ‘James T. Kirk.’ However, strangely enough, Shatner could not secure any notable roles following Star Trek, and he was highly at risk of bankruptcy. This is quite a bizarre background for a man who now has accumulated $100 million to his name, yes. He has also authored a number of books in addition to his acting career.

Christopher Plummer – 88, $20 Million

This Canadian actor is most popular for playing Captain Georg Ludwig von Trapp in The Sound of Music. This fact is one of Canada’s biggest points of pride. And although he started acting so long ago and has amassed a sizeable net worth, he is not yet finished. Christopher Plummer received an Academy Award nomination recently for his amazing performance in The Beginners. He’s acted for more than 50 years, even on stage, and is the recipient of two Tony Awards.

The Italian beauty is in her eighties but still takes a stroll down the red carpet every now and then. She must take health and fitness seriously because she’s looking stunning and vibrant at 83.

Brigitte Bardot – 83, $65 Million

We’ve spoken about Sophia Loren, now we’ll see her greatest rival – Brigitte Bardot. Bardot had a dream of becoming a ballerina in her childhood, but she veered towards acting when the time came for her to develop her career. She starred in over forty films, strutted several catwalks in her time, and also released songs. Time hasn’t been kind to Bardot and that’s something that cosmetic surgery could have fixed had she opted for it. Bardot retired in 1973, and she keeps herself busy with her interest in animal rights.

Harry Belafonte, 91 – $28 Million

Born back in the 1920s, Harry Belafonte made his best debut in Hollywood by acting in Bobby back in 2006. With a formal education in acting from New York Dramatic Workshop, this 91-year-old singer actor began his journey with folk-singing for various nightclubs, television, and recordings. One of the best Jamaican-American pop singer today, the King of Calypso can easily take care of himself without having to worry about his life insurance for the rest of his years. Better known as Berry Gordy III, this American record executive and songwriter made his presence known by making the soundtrack for Guardians of The Galaxy (2014). If you do not already know this, Berry Gordy was previously a professional boxer (maybe that is why he is still going on strong!).
