The consensus is that having famous folks is pretty awesome. However, celeb kids have varied opinions about it because growing up under public scrutiny isn’t easy. The invasion of privacy isn’t something celeb kids sign up for, and they often face the pressure to live up to their famous folks’ legacy.
Fortunately, the majority of celeb kids have grown up with a level head on their shoulders and turned out great on their own accord. We’ve rounded up a list of some of our favorite stars whose children either followed in their footsteps or managed to escape the limelight entirely.
Barbra Streisand & Jason Gould

Barbara Streisand is a renowned name in both the music and film industries, with a career that stretches out over six decades. She boasts of receiving ten Grammys and five Emmys amongst a long list of other awards. Streisand still churns out music and in 2018 she released her most recent album, Walls.
Jason Gould is the son Streisand shares with actor Elliot Gould, and Jason is now an accomplished filmmaker. The last time we saw Gould on our screens was in the 2000 film Boys Life 3. He has also been successful in music, and he released an album titled Dangerous Man in 2017.
Heidi Klum & Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel

A list of the world’s most successful supermodels isn’t complete without Heidi Klum on it. She rose to fame as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and later, she hosted Project Runway. Klum was married to singer Seal and they share four children including Henry Gunther.
His full name is quite a mouthful, Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, and he’s Klum’s second born. He’s now 14 years old, and since his mother has shielded him from the limelight, we can only assume that he’s keeping busy with school. Klum is set to return to our screens alongside Tim Gunn in the 2020 reality series Making The Cut.
Sandra Bullock and Louis Bardo Bullock

People magazine consider her as one of the World’s Most Beautiful Women and the award gods have recognized her acting talents with multiple awards. We are talking about Sandra Bullock who has delivered great performances in films like The Blind Side.
Bullock initiated the process to adopt Louis Bardo when she was still married to Jesse James. She continued the process after their split and she’s now his sole parent. She doesn’t spare anything when it comes to showering the young man with luxuries. For instance, she bought him an Andy Warhol painting called Peaches worth $14K.
Gordon Ramsay & Jack Scott Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is a respected name within the culinary industry, and he’s well-known globally thanks to his multiple reality cooking shows. Besides owning thriving restaurants and hosting shows like Hells Kitchen, Ramsay has also released several cookbooks. Away from all that, he’s a family man with five children.
Jack Scott Ramsey, who has a twin sister Holly, is now a sports enthusiast and actor. He’s been widely praised for not having a sense of entitlement based on his father’s wealth, and in every sense, Jack is his own man. He does share photos he’s taken with his father on Instagram where he boasts of 250,000 followers.
Meryl Streep & Mamie Gummer

Meryl Streep won us over with her versatility and ability to mimic diverse accents for her various acting roles. The award gurus agree because she’s won three Academy and eight Golden Globes with several more nominations. Mamie Gummer, Streep’s eldest daughter, may not have reached similar heights of success but she’s a star in her own right.
She’s starred in shows like Emily Owens M.D and The Good Wife. Mamie has upcoming roles in the 2020 productions Separation and God’s & Heroes. Streep, on the other hand, is set to appear in Let Them All Talk and The Prom.
Susan Sarandon & Eva Amurri Martino

Susan Sarandon became a household name with award-winning performances in films like Thelma & Louise, The Client, and Dead Man Walking. She’s also entertained us on the small screen with guest roles in shows like Friends and Feud. Eva Amurri is the daughter she had out of her relationship with filmmaker Franco Amurri Martino.
They had the opportunity to share the screen in the 2007 film Middle of Nowhere and The Banger Sisters. Eva seems to have taken a breather from the industry given that she’s expecting her third child with her estranged husband, Kyle Martino.
Diana Ross & Tracee Ellis Ross

The legendary Diana Ross cemented her spot as a music icon from her time with The Supremes. Her vocal prowess earned her equal respect as a solo artist with charting hits like Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Ross continues performing at various musical events and winning awards for her music.
Tracee Ellis Ross is the first biological daughter she shares with her former husband Robert Ellis Silberstein. Tracee is a renowned actress who we grew to love from her appearances in Girlfriends and Blackish. Tracee is scheduled to appear in the 2020 film The High Note.
Demi Moore & Rumer Willis

General Hospital was Demi Moore’s acting debut and she went on to feature in several teen-orientated flicks in the ‘80s. She gained more attention after her exemplary performance in Ghost, and she even received a Golden Globe nomination for the role.
Moore had three daughters, including Rumer Willis, with her first husband, Bruce Willis. Rumer had the opportunity to appear in productions alongside her famous father like Hostage and Nine Yards. After tickling our bones in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, we can’t wait to see what Rumer has in store for us in 2020.
Bette Midler & Sophie Von Haselberg

Bette Midler’s time on Broadway back in the ‘60s paved the way for her singing and big-screen acting career. She has films like Outrageous Fortune, The Stepford Wives, and Parental Guidance to her name. In 2020, we are looking forward to watching her in The Glorias.
She passed her good looks and talent to her daughter Sophie Von Hasselberg. She attended Yale University where she studied sociology and she later returned to the institution to study drama. Hasselberg has appeared in films like the Irrational Man and the true-crime series The Assassination of Gianni Versace.
Paul McCartney & Stella McCartney

We can’t imagine what it must have been like growing up in the same household as Paul McCartney. It must have been thrilling catching some of his brainstorm sessions with The Beatles and perhaps even having the first listen to his solo debut McCartney.
He shared four children with his late wife Linda Eastman including their highly successful daughter Stella McCartney. Stella earned fame in her own light as a beauty and style guru. She teamed up with Gucci to create the label Kering and she also has a collection of beauty products. She also shares her love for animals with her father, and she extends her efforts to advocating animal rights.
Ice Cube & O’Shea Jackson Jr.

Ice Cube was part of the biggest ‘90s hip hop groups N.W.A, before going solo and later launching a clothing line. He also dabbled in sports and owns the Big3 league. He also struck gold in acting appearing in films like Are We There Yet.
His son O’Shea Jackson is practically his doppelganger and he got the chance to portray a younger version of his old man in Straight Outta Compton. Musically, he goes by OMG and in 2012 he released a mixtape. O’Shea is also more focused on acting nowadays and he most recently appeared in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Long Shot.
Courtney Cox & Coco Arquette

Courtney Cox is best known for playing the role of Monica Geller in Friends. She’s also starred in other shows like Cougar Town, Dirt, and Scream. She co-runs Coquette Productions through which she’s produced Talhotblond and Cougar Town.
Coco is the daughter she shares with her ex-husband David Arquette. As Cox’s only child, we imagine that Coco has never lacked anything she wanted in life. Coco is now 15, and we just have to wait and see where she’ll end up careerwise. Cox continues maintaining a busy schedule with guest roles on various TV shows.
Reese Witherspoon & Ava Phillippe

Reese Witherspoon is one of Hollywood’s highest female earners and its all thanks to her hard work. She won us over as a teen star in films like Cruel Intentions and Legally Blonde. She’s now set to appear in the 2020 productions Little Fires Everywhere and The Dry.
She shares an uncanny resemblance with her daughter Ava Philippe who is now 20. From what we gather, she’s busy working on getting a degree from the University of California where she’s in her second year. She has a massive following on Instagram, standing at around 871,000, where she often showers her mother with praise.
Julianne Moore & Liv Freundlich

Julianne Moore has been a prolific figure in film since the ‘90s. You’ve probably seen her in films like The Lost World: Jurrasic Park and Hannibal. She’s now 57 with a steady flow of work in upcoming films like The Glorias and The Woman in the Window.
Moore has two children with her husband Bart Freundlich and their daughter Liv is set to turn 18 in April 2020. Liv has inherited her mother’s good looks and the pair have even been spotted together at a couple of events. We imagine she’ll do well in whatever venture she pursues.
Madonna & Lourdes Leon

Madonna may now be 61 but she will forever remain the “Queen of Pop.” She grew popular for relentlessly pushing the boundaries with chart-toppers including Like a Prayer and La Isla Bonita. She released Madame X, her fourteenth studio album, in 2019.
Her eldest child Lourdes Leon created a buzz online because many people think that she’s beginning to look more like Lady Gaga. In 2014, Lourdes paved her way to showbiz by graduating from the La Guardia School of Performing Arts. We are waiting to see the moves she’ll make within the entertainment industry.
Robin Wright & Dylan Penn

Robin Wright grabbed our attention in the ‘80s soap Santa Barbara and The Princess Bride. She’s also known for delivering stellar performances in productions like Forrest Gump and House of Cards. For 2020, she’s scheduled to appear in Wonder Woman 1984 and Land.
Her daughter Dylan Penn followed suit to become a much-sort after Hollywood talent. Dylan’s modeling days saw her work with Gap Inc and other brands. She also appeared in the music video for Chains by Nick Jonas. In terms of acting, she featured in the 2015 horror film Condemned but we haven’t seen her in anything else recent.
Tish Cyrus & Miley Cyrus

Letitia “Tish” Cyrus is a renowned producer behind films like The Last Song, which happens to be a credit in her daughter Mylie’s acting resume. She also serves as Mylie’s manager. Mylie is her eldest child with Billy Ray Cyrus.
Mylie is still fresh out of her split with Liam Hemsworth, who she separated from after their seven-month-long union. Mylie struck it big as a teen idol i. Hannah Montana. She’s also a top-selling artist and in 2019 she released a series of singles. Don’t Call Me Angel, the Charlie’s Angel theme song, was one of her releases that year.
Catherine Zeta-Jones & Carys Zeta Douglas

Catherine Zeta-Jones started her career on stage before her breakthrough roles in films like The Mask of Zorro. She has continued entertaining us more than three decades later appearing in films like Ocean’s Twelve and Red 2. She even briefly tried her luck in the music industry releasing her first single in the mid-’90s.
Carys Zeta Douglas is the 16-year-old daughter she shares with Michael Douglas, and she is already a teen beauty. Carys is well-versed with Italian cinematography and she keeps herself preoccupied reading biographies. It’s just a matter of time before she becomes part of the showbiz community.
Rob Lowe & Matthew Edward Lowe

Rob Lowe was part of the “Brat Pack” back in the ‘80s and he appeared in several teen movies. His dashing looks made him a teen idol and as an adult, he’s starred in productions like The West Wing and Brothers & Sisters.
Lowe’s good looks are now carried on to a different generation through his sons Matthew and John. He’s even shared the screen with them in The Grinder and The Lowe Files. The latter followed the trio as they discussed spooky stories while looking into unsolved mysteries. From Matthew’s Instagram page we gather he loves traveling and photography, but we are not too sure what he’s up to professionally.
Jude Law & Rafferty Law

Jude Law found his way under the spotlight through appearances in films like The Talented Mr. Ripley and A.I. Artificial Intelligence. He hit a slump with unsuccessful films in the early 2000s before his steady rise back to glory in Captain Marvel.
His son Rafferty Law is involved in the modeling industry, and he’s already teamed up with brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, and Timberland. Rafferty also ventured into music and released Support Network in 2017 as “Raff Law.” Rafferty has also shared plans to launch a record label out of Something to Hate On, which is his creative collective.
Kate Moss & Lila Grace Moss

At the age of 14, Kate Moss had started her climb to fame when she was recruited by Sarah Doukas. She rose to fame in the ‘90s thanks to her collaboration with designer Calvin Klein. These days she’s a British Vogue contributing editor, and she has a clothing range.
Her daughter Lila Grace is about 17 now, and she’s already made a name for herself in the modeling world. In 2018, Lila became one of the faces of the Marc Jacobs brand, and we can only imagine that she’s all set to take over the runways in the coming years.
Kim Basinger And Irene Baldwin

Kim Basinger had a successful run in the modeling industry before she transitioned to acting. She met Alec Baldwin when they were filming the 1990 film The Marrying Man, and three years later they were married. Their union resulted in the birth of Ireland Baldwin.
Ireland is now 20 and she’s a big name in the modeling world. She signed up with IMG talent management in 2013, and in 2018, she posed for an anti-fur PETA campaign. Her mother had also posed for the same campaign more than two decades earlier in her birthday suit.
Dennis Quaid & Jack Quaid

Dennis Quaid is known for his wide range of comedic and dramatic roles. He’s appeared in films like The Parent Trap, The Day After Tomorrow, and most recently in The Intruder. Quaid has had success on the small screen too, and he recently starred in Merry Happy Whatever.
He offered his son Jack Quaid a regular childhood by his account, and Jack said he never realized that he had famous folks. He explained to Entertainment Weekly in 2016 that he often considered himself similar to his classmates, with folks who were lawyers or involved in other similar professions. Jack is also an actor, and he’s featured in The Hunger Games.
Paul Rudd & Jack Sullivan Rudd

Paul Rudd is a man we’ve seen in films like Romeo + Juliet, Knocked Up, and recently in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Rudd has also featured in several TV shows like Friends, Parks & Recreations, and Friends. He’s currently scheduled to appear in Ghostbusters: Afterlife in 2020.
Rudd and his son Jack are essentially celebrity doppelgangers. If there is ever a biography lined up about Rudd, Jack should get the role. Jack is just 16, but we can already see him joining the industry. He causes a ruckus whenever he makes public appearances with his old man because of their resemblance, like when they attended Super Bowl LIV.
Andie MacDowell & Rainey Qualley

Fresh from the runways, Andie MacDowell commanded the screens in the ‘80s with roles in films like Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. You might also remember her from Groundhog Day, Footloose, and she has an upcoming role in No Man’s Land.
Rainey Qualley, her second child with Paul Qualley, is now making ripples in the music industry. Rainey has already released a couple of hit singles, including Falcon Song and Might Fine. It’s also admirable that Rainey joined showbiz at just the age of two, and she’s managed to stay grounded through her rise to fame.
Kelly Ripa & Lola Consuelos

Kelly Ripa has succeeded as both an actress and talk show hostess. We knew her from when she appeared in All My Children throughout the ’90s. These days she’s keeping busy with Live! With Kelly and Ryan.
Lola Grace Consuelos is the second child Ripa shares with her husband Mark Consuelos. She’s 18 and already making all the right moves to secure her future in entertainment. When she was 16, she dipped her fingers in the film industry by doing an internship at a production company. Her folks’ production company, Milojo, is a fusion of her name and her two brothers named Michael and Joaquin.
Robert Redford & Shauna Redford

The ‘60s were kind to Robert Redford, pushing him under the spotlight on Broadway and the big screen. The biggest blockbuster in his career is perhaps The Sting, and the role earned him an Academy Award nomination. Nowadays, Redford does more work behind the camera as a producer/director.
His daughter Shauna didn’t stray too far away, and she’s involved in the artistic field, and her two siblings are part of showbiz. She’s a painter and must be doing quite well because she’s worth an estimated $2 million. Shauna has two children with her husband, a journalist named Eric Schliesser.
Anna Nicole Smith & Dannielynn Birkhead

Anna Nicole Smith was a woman everyone couldn’t resist liking because she was full of life. She modeled for brands like Guess and H&M, and she also guest-starred in several TV shows and films. Sadly, Smith had a troubled life as well, and she died from a drug overdose in 2007.
Her daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead, was the subject of a much-publicized custody case. The matter was settled, and she’s been growing up happily with her biological father, Larry Birkhead. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is her first child with her now ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and she’s now 13 years old. These days she’s often seen clad in loose shirts, perfectly tailored suits, and short hairstyles. However, her family hasn’t addressed the long-standing speculations surrounding her gender identity. Only time will tell which path she’ll choose, but we believe that she has Hollywood written all over her eyes.
Phil Collins & Lily Collins

Another Day in Paradise, In The Air Tonight, and One More Night are just a few of the hit singles Phil Collins released in the ‘80s. Collins now boasts of eight album releases and an estimated 150 million records sold worldwide. Lily Collins is his daughter, and she’s made a huge impression in Hollywood appearing in films like Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Her relationship with her father was strained because he walked away from them in 1994. He had a string of affairs when married to Lily’s mom and his alcoholism eventually led to their split. Fortunately, they managed to work on Lily and Collins managed to work on their relationship.
Wesley Snipes & Alaafia Jehu-T Snipes

The actor/director Wesley Trent Snipes is best known for his film roles in New Jack City (1991) and White Men Can’t Jump (1992). The latest project of his you can catch is 2019’s Dolemite Is My Name.
Wesley’s had five kids in total and has admitted in the past that he loves being a dad. He had one of his sons from his first marriage to April Dubois and the rest of his kids from his marriage to Nakyung “Nikki” Park. He had a daughter and three sons with Nikki, one of which is Alaafia Jehu-T Snipes. He was born in 2007 and looks a lot like his father.
Faith Hill And Maggie Elizabeth McGraw

Just seeing this picture of a younger Faith Hill next to her daughter Maggie Elizabeth, it becomes clear how much they look alike. Faith had Maggie Elizabeth with her long-time husband, Tim McGraw, in 1998. Today, Maggie is 21 years old and a student at Stanford University.
Faith might be a successful singer, but she’s also a proud mother. She’s not shied away from sharing pictures and videos with her children.
