He must be his local gym’s favorite client!

Gangrel – Estimated $500K

Fanged and fearful, David Heath is one of the WWE fighters with a respected career. With the stage name of Gangrel, the long-fanged wrestler has made his highlight in the World Wrestling Foundation from 1998 to the mid-2000s. Presently, he’s wrestling for an independent promotion named New Era Pro Wrestling and has remained as fierce as he was during his younger years. Rumor has it that he is an adult entertainment movie director, and thankfully, with his recent baldness and sharp fangs, he’s not the one performing in the movie!

Joey Mercury – Estimated $600K

A wrestler who seemed to have had an extreme makeover is Joey Mercury. Having ditched his french-braided long hair during his glorious wrestling past, Mercury has opted for a bald-headed look and some more formal clothing. The reason behind this outer change is that he chose training instead of fighting on the ring, and more specifically, at the Ring Of Honor’s Dojo. He has publicly revealed his drug addiction starting from his teenage years, but what followed was an addiction to painkillers, even after returning from a six-month rehab.

Justin Credible – Estimated $200K

He is a one-time world champion and a semi-retired professional wrestler. The word’s on Justin Credible aka Peter Joseph “PJ” Polaco in real life. Having enjoyed a respected wrestling and bodybuilding career, it seems like Credible wasn’t willing to retire from his in-ring action; not having the desired recognition or the money could give an athlete something to go on with. Nevertheless, and with the special help of his friend X-Pack, Credible has left behind a WWE career that people would envy, even if that meant a short time appearing in television.

Brutus Beefcake – Estimated $100K

Another example of a meager income from a wrestling career is of Brutus Beefcake. Although he had his share of popularity in the WWF and the WCW, Beefcake didn’t manage to rake in funds to live the glamorous life of a retired wrestler. Even with Hulk Hogan being his idol, he wasn’t able to achieve that much success. Being discovered working for the public transit system was a complete shock, but what he might want to work on is his health and fitness routine, which might have been somewhat neglected of late.

Adam Rose – Estimated $500K

Constantly changing his statements, Adam Rose has finally announced that 2017 would be his last year as a wrestler. The South African professional wrestler had a notorious past, having been suspended for a WWE Wellness Policy violation. There’s more to add to his bad-guy image though; at the time he was serving the suspension, Rose was charged with and found guilty of domestic battery. Afterward, Rose decided to resort to selling t-shirts with his mugshot on them. Not quite a profitable solution, but if it’s for his well-being under the circumstances, then we can’t argue.

Maven – Estimated $100K

Maven made his first steps in the wrestling world after appearing at the debut Tough Enough event. Never making it big in the WWE, he made some brief appearances on MTV shows before eventually working as a bouncer in some NYC clubs. His health started to deteriorate in 2012, when he battled with a prescription drug abuse, eventually getting past it after receiving help from the WWE. A couple of years ago, Maven wrestled again after many years, for the sake of old “glory.”

One Man Gang – Estimated $50K

One Man Gang, as George Gray is most known, might have been enough to wrestle some pretty big guys in the ring, but his muscles didn’t quite help him when the horrific 2016 Louisiana floods transformed his house into a pile of debris. Despite a GoFundMe page raising some bucks for him, the sum was far from what his house actually cost. In later years, he used to work as a prison guard, but he required back treatment, thus, he quit.

Rip Rogers

Younger generations might not be familiar with Rip Rogers, but for the WWE’s “old pals,” he’s a quite recognizable figure. Having won the NWA Mid-American Heavyweight Championship, he eventually ran out of cash, and he reached out to his fans for help with a GoFundMe page. The fact that the page wasn’t set up for some kind of injury or medical treatment for the former Champion lessened his chances of financial success, though many of his old fans responded.

Virgil

If you need some fitness advice and how-to-grow-your-money tips, then Virgil might not be the right person to ask. He’ll mostly provide some pretty good pointers on how to become a successful wrestler and eventually fall from grace. Just like many others, he set up a GoFundMe page to earn some easy bucks, however, he raised very little. He also tried to escape poverty by attending wrestling conventions, but he was mocked by many of the attendees.

Dynamite Kid

Dynamite Kid? Not quite the case these days! Born Tom Billington, Dynamite Kid was quite popular back in the ’90s, after retiring from the industry in 1996. Since then, his life has taken a massive turn for the worse. In 2013, Billington suffered a severe stroke, and since then, he entered a treatment program in the UK, basically being a shut-in. That’s not all though. He currently can’t move one of his legs after serious injuries during his days as a wrestler. Now, that’s bad news!

Matt Cappotelli – Deceased

Another wrestler who gained attention through Tough Enough was Matt Cappotelli, who even won the OVW Heavyweight Championship and was about to become a wrestling star. Sadly, he was diagnosed with cancer. In fact, he had developed a brain tumor which became bigger and bigger, requiring an immediate procedure. Cappotelli underwent two tumor procedures, which were considered to be successful. Tragically though, he passed away in June 2018, as part of his tumor was considered inoperable.

Perry Saturn

Perry Saturn is the stage name of WWE wrestler’s Perry Satullo. Having served for several years in the military, he began his career in wrestling, but disappeared all of a sudden, due to multiple reasons. Rumor has it he’s been bankrupt and homeless, after his strong addiction to painkillers and methamphetamine. In addition, Saturn’s traumatic brain injury has uncovered multiple health problems, such as daily headaches and lack of stability.

Jimmy Wang Yang – Estimated $ 8 Million

Jimmy Wang Yang knows how to burn calories and build a fit body. His wrestling career in the WWE and the WWF lasted for many years and brought him enviable success. His appearance in the World Championship Wrestling and participation in the independent circuit and the so-called Ring Of Honor were just some of the American entrepreneur’s feats. Nowadays, he is the owner of a professional wrestling school named Pro Training and is very good at what he’s doing. You should find out more about his ‘redneck party bus business.’

Harvey Wippleman

It’s incredible, and it’s the truth – Harvey Wippleman might not look it, but he did beat Big Bully Busick and Giant Gonzales, and more wrestling monsters of that kind. He might have hired a great fitness trainer to up his game, but that didn’t matter much after all. Bruno Lauer, his real name, has been occupied with professional wrestling promotions and gradually stepped into the idea of calling himself a manager. Although he has been through hardships, he’s stayed positive. No injury or imprisonment could stop this guy from shining!

Spike Dudley – Estimated $300K

Popularly known as Spike Dudley or Brother Runt, Matthew Hyson has boosted his bank account by working in different positions, like that of a financial planner. Apart from that, he has made his debut in professional wrestling, and then turned to training professional fighters, just like he once was. For the record, he owns a third-grade teacher’s assistant post and must be great at it. Having received a Bachelor of Arts degree prior to his wrestling career proves that there is a reason behind his steps toward financial success.

Lance Storm

It must be really interesting for a former wrestling champion to continue his mark by passing on his knowledge and experience to young little wrestlers. Having your own academy like Lance Storm does is an even better plan, don’t you think? Whoever attends the Storm Wrestling Academy must be really lucky to be taught by a former fighter and economist, who has racked up multiple titles throughout his highlight career moments. With so many offerings emotionally and financially, Lance Storm might never come across bankruptcy.

Beulah McGillicutty

Who runs the ring? Girls! Beulah McGillicutty had the men fighting for her heart back in the days she was a professional wrestling valet, which was kind of flattering. That, though, wasn’t enough for Beulah, for she didn’t just want attention. Tommy Dreamer won the battle, and she made a choice of marrying him. The wrestler-turned-mom was soon pregnant with twin girls! Their kids have already seen the spotlight by participating in The Sopranos. Did Beulah think that she would have such a famous family someday? Likely not!

Hardcore Holly – Estimated $200K

Hardcore Holly is one of the retired wrestlers who used to give the impression of being the worst opponent one could ever have! His 16-year-old career in the WWE and the WWF was written in his detailed autobiography named The Hardcore Truth which we’re hyped to read. His age-defying charm is undeniable, as with his workout-driven physique, making him still an absolute hunk at his age. As far as his other interests are concerned, Holly is a lover of cars and traveling.

Glacier

Remember Glacier and his flashy wrestling suit? Well, he’s obviously changed a lot. Once a martial arts guru in the rings, he used to be among the top wrestlers in the WCW. Moreover, Glacier also pursued an acting career, which really didn’t turn out to be that fruitful of an attempt. But he has other things he’s busy with though, as he’s an activist regarding cancer issues. He now works for a marketing company located in Florida.

Dean Malenko

Dean Malenko is known for his spectacular moves in the ring, having won numerous matches with submission and also having made history in the ECW. Surprisingly, he was never a world champion, although he won several titles. He now works for the WWE as a road agent. Malenko still makes occasional wrestling appearances, despite having suffered a heart attack in 2010. He has three children, living a happy life alongside his wife.

Molly Holly

A legendary figure in the female wrestling industry, Molly Holly dominated the rings of the WWF and WWE, and she was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She still makes wrestling appearances every now and then, while she mostly serves as the female lead coach at The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling, something that also helps her keep her fitness in top levels, looking pretty hot for a 40-year-old. Now that’s a lady you don’t mess around with.

Trevor Murdoch

Trevor Murdoch was one of the most comical figures in the WWE. Apart from bodybuilding and fighting, Murdoch really loved singing as well, and he proved it many times when he grabbed the mic and sang his favorite tune, something that his fans absolutely loved. The former World Tag Team Champion is still active, though less visible, and he also runs his own heavy equipment company. He prefers to spend his free time with his family though.

Doink the Clown – Unknown

Back in 1992, Matt Osborne made his first appearance at the World Wrestling Federation as Doink the Clown. The talent in wrestling ran in his blood because he is the son of wrestler Tony Borne. Her first husband died in a car accident, she divorced the second, and as of 2006, she has been married to Brock Lesnar.

Joan Marie Laurer aka Chyna, started her wrestling career in the 1990s when she appeared in the World Wrestling Federation. She was one of the first few female wrestlers who was really serious when it came to bodybuilding. Outside of her wrestling career, she is known for releasing an autobiography and working as an adult film star as well. She passed away in 2016 due to an accidental drug overdose.

CM Punk – $8 Million
