Pick Another Wrapper Next Time

Many people are eager to start wrapping Christmas presents even before the first snowflake drops on the ground. There’s a certain adrenaline rush that comes with picking the perfect gift and covering it in suitably festive packaging for a loved one – it’s these extra things that make the holiday special indeed.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for this gift in the picture since it might leave the unsuspecting giver in trouble. It’s safe to assume this wasn’t done intentionally, yet, in any case, let’s keep our fingers crossed that whoever received this didn’t know how to read or at least had the sense of humor for this type of blunder!
A Christmas Clothesline of Lights

Seeing the roads lit up with sparkly Christmas lights would give even a cold-hearted man the flutters – there’s simply nothing like it! It sparks joy and could even possibly elevate anyone’s mood with just a glance, especially with all the various shapes the lights can get styled.
Yet, somehow, this one shown in the picture might elicit a laugh or two instead, given the odd form it’s in. The design honestly looks like a set of delicates hung out on a clothesline, only, in this case, they’re fairy lights! Let’s just say that whoever took some pictures from this spot has a unique keepsake that makes for an interesting Yuletide conversation.
Attack Of The Scary-Looking Bears

Much like most establishments during the holidays, the mall is typically packed with avid shoppers who are keen on scoring the fabulous sales around and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere. Well, judging by this shopping center’s choice of décor, their customer might be running out the door instead of coming in.
Sure, the bears seem fluffy and cute from afar, but once an innocent kid wanders up close, expect to hear screams of terror! Let’s hope this is the last we’ll ever see of this creepy band of bears! Just look at them – they resemble something straight out of a horror movie.
Not An Ideal Holiday Caption

Here’s another prime example of why the holiday industry should do better quality checks for Christmas decorations. The image of a snowman hugging a girl doesn’t look too terrible initially until one reads the message that they’re both holding up – it’s bound to get dirty
looks from people everywhere!
Wouldn’t it be a better idea to simply remove that note altogether and replace it with a traditional Christmas greeting? We’re sure that’ll encourage more sales to come in! Nevertheless, it might even be wiser to just stash every stock at the back of the storage area and forget it existed. How’s that for a new year’s plan?
Red And Golden Bell-Shaped Bells

Shopping for Christmas decorations is always fun, and it’s even more of an adventure when you do it with your loved ones, making it a family affair well before the festivities. While on the lookout for the brightest embellishments, imagine bumping into these beauties named bell-shaped bells.
The store must have instantly reverberated with giggles and laughter at the product stating the obvious. Yes, we only want those bells that are shaped like one since we will be hanging them from a tree-shaped traditional Christmas tree. Kidding aside, the red and golden bells are perfect accessories to liven up the entire room with their sparkly presence. We bet next year; people will go searching for these.
Not The Right Place To Jump, Santa

Does anyone want to see the precious Santa jumping for joy off an overbridge? Guess not! It’s that time of the year people genuinely want to set aside all their worries and hardship and celebrate in the spirit of Christmas. Sadly, someone mistakenly thought it’d be a fun idea to do this as part of the city decorations for the Holidays.
The same Santa on the ground would’ve cheered so many people, and maybe a few would’ve jumped for joy in solidarity with the old guy. That’s the kind of inclusivity one should use during a festive occasion instead of a morbid scene that could trigger some. We hope someone took the whole thing down quickly.
Hide The Candle Holders

Initially, our jaws dropped that granny would go this far to be an entertaining hostess for the Christmas dinner. Later, after the awkwardness evaporated, we let our heads fall back with laughter. She’s the wicked one in the family trying to get a rise out of her children and grandkids gathered around the table.
We are sure the kids were made to sit elsewhere and eat since the grandma refused to hide her brand new candle holders that were too suggestive to be out during family get-togethers. She must have had the most fun, though, watching everyone’s precious reaction to her fresh collection of Christmas decorations.
Granny’s Fancy Cookies Off The Table

Every year grandma baked traditional cookies, but she wanted to experiment and make designer ones that always play on television. Since it was Christmas, she decided to shape the treats like candles. Finally, the evening arrived when her entire coterie of kids and grandkids gathered around the large table to have dinner.
There was an entire minute of pin-drop silence, which had never happened before when the dessert arrived. Then the chaos broke out in full gear, with the grown-ups scrambling to get the kids who were reaching for the cookie candles out of the room as fast as they could. Grandma, to this day, doesn’t know what happened to her fancy bakes that evening.
No Change Of Scene For A Christmas Gift

In the spirit of giving something cheerful and meaningful, a husband ordered a black cup that would change color depicting a beautiful blue Christmas scene to his coffee-loving wife. He had been excited seeing the picture on the online store, imagining the love of his life using it happily every day while working.
Alas, what came crushed his enthusiasm to smithereens. It was regular merchandise that people would pick up at the dollar store with a snapshot of the black mug and a blue one stuck on it. We are sure he dashed right away to find his beloved a worthy gift. This time he’d see the real thing and then buy.
Toys That Don’t Belong In Stores

As November begins, the hype around shopping for perfect and sparkly Christmas decorations becomes real. Every evening, people are out and about buying bits and pieces they find interesting to brighten up their homes in preparation for December. So, it’s entirely possible that the early shoppers bumped into these toys at the stores before they got pulled out for obvious reasons.
How did they end up on the display stands in the first place? Doesn’t every new product go through several levels of scrutiny and approval before they end up at stores for people to purchase? Strangely, neither the manufacturers nor the shop’s management found the item inappropriate for public display.
Right By Night, Wrong By Day

Christmas is one of the favorite holidays for many to spend quality time with families and friends celebrating. This undeniable magic is in the air, with every street and home decorated with millions of lights. The city comes alive, including the beaches where animation lighting is used to brighten up the space for fairs.
On one such occasion in Virginia Beach, the intention behind an animation lighting of a Santa gifting presents in the night got a whole new meaning by day. While it depicts a festive season with the lights on, it becomes hugely inappropriate with the lights off. Well, hopefully, the workmen caught on quickly and decided to keep it covered during the daytime.
A Paris Christmas Tree In The Making

Since we didn’t understand the gross green structure being erected in Paris, we asked around and were shocked to know it was a Christmas tree. No way can that dowdy structure be the base for something so majestic, right? Yet it is, and now we are not sure it’s a good idea to even look at the finished sculpture.
It puzzled the passersby, too, because someone clicked a picture and shared it with people worldwide. The caption must have read, “can anyone believe this is a Christmas tree?” Well, we hope it looks spectacular, and that this time, people would stop to look at it in awe instead of indifference.
Hand Holding The Mittens

Taking a leaf from ‘Starbucks’ controversial holiday cup design, ‘McDonald’s’ decided to err on the side of caution and came out with a rather mundane logo in 2016. They forgot to factor in the ingenuity of the netizens who need the bare minimum to color it any way they want to, and they did just that.
Drawing a pair of hands on either side of the mittens on the cups accomplished their mission to make it suggestive. The design department must have had a field day wondering how they hadn’t seen that coming. Eventually, we are sure it made everyone laugh hysterically over the clever comeback and their failure to create a foolproof design for Christmas.
Lighting The Streets With Mistletoes

Can there be Christmas without mistletoe? The plant symbolizing romance, vitality, and fertility has been part and parcel of the celebrations for centuries. People usually hang them from the ceiling, so we often find them hanging over our heads. In keeping with the tradition, someone decided to do the same on the highway, lighting up the skies and streets.
The design was such a failure because the mistletoes took the shape of something way inappropriate to float above all through traffic. Even though it’s funny to look at, it could pose a severe threat to the drivers who could be distracted by the odd lighting. We wonder if anyone raised a complaint for them to be taken down.
Mislabeled Christmas Lights

Christmas tree decorations won’t be complete without lights; Even so, it’s probably better not to buy this one. There might be kids at home who would see the box and get the wrong impression. We’re pretty sure a product goes through a quality control process before being transported to stores, so it’s confusing why no one bothered to correct this name.
There are so many better fonts to choose from; why use one that would turn the ‘L’ followed by ‘I’ into the letter’ U?’ If it did not spell an indecent word, the mistake would have been acceptable. Regardless, some people found humor in it, so it’s maybe ok to let it be.
Risqué Surprise

At first glance, one would think that some dirty-minded individual found something obscene in a Santa decoration. Though, if we look closely, we would see that the wrapper says there’s a surprise toy inside. So, it’s safe to say that this item was made to be this way.
Therefore, this plaything must’ve been made for adults and not for kids. Can we just say it’s kind of sickening to associate Santa Claus with this kind of an item? Father Christmas brings gifts to children and not their parents. So, many would join us when we say, leave Santa out of this!
No, Santa’s Not Doing That

Oh, we are pretty sure this was only an honest mistake. Looking at the text behind the funny graphic, they are Christmas activities that probably involve serving pancakes. So the one who made this poster probably took a picture of pancakes being poured over by maple syrup, then added an image of Santa.
The person did not notice how the picture combination made it appear like Saint Nicolas was making a boo boo. In case some people had seen this after a few copies had already been printed, they just ignored the error to avoid waste. After all, the finished product is continuously giving joy to those who see it.
This Tree Might Stink

First of all, Christmas trees are supposed to be green and not brown; also, they shouldn’t look like human waste. It’s hard to think how someone would depict a Holiday symbol this way. One could use other materials instead of a natural or plastic tree; a better alternative would be craft papers or anything else that’s not brown colored.
If we remember correctly, trees only turn brown when it’s shedding leaves in fall or if they are about to expire. So why would one use a Christmas decoration that does not look lively at all? It’s really strange – no wonder this person took a photo and shared it for the world to see.
It’s A Baby, Not A Toe

We can imagine this person’s shock upon seeing grandma’s Christmas tree ornament that looked like a severed toe. She’s religious, so, it’s strange she would go for goth-themed Holiday decorations. But, upon closer inspection, the knickknack is not a depiction of a human body part; instead, it’s baby Jesus!
So, the question is, why would the maker of this crafty thing shape a religious symbol into a toe? If we are to guess, the manufacturer probably also produces Halloween items. Since they have excess toe-shaped plastics, they made them into baby Jesus’s. If that’s the case, we should applaud them for doing something to avoid wastage.
Cheeky Dresscode

Parents have a knack for making their kid’s life in school a nightmare when picking out clothes. Of course, they might think they are doing the right thing, only to make things bad, and we have all been there. Remember when you had to wear that ugly sweater or dress for photo day?
This boy must have had an epic day in school with Santa’s cheeky artwork embroidered on his sweater. Luckily, this is one of those rare situations that might have worked in the little one’s favor as kids might find this funny. Moreover, the smile on the lad’s face says it all.
Art Is Subjective

Art is subjective, and sometimes, people won’t see the artist’s point of view. Depending on which angle you look at it, this ceramic mold of Santa might be an artistic masterpiece or something else entirely. The red hue makes it stand out, and anyone wouldn’t be wrong for picturing something else from the back.
It doesn’t help that the aunt doesn’t get the fuss about the design, making this situation even more hilarious. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but we believe this artist did this on purpose. Hopefully, the aunt will have a crash course on queer shapes and toys to save her some face next Christmas.
Failed By Design

We’re beginning to understand why candlestick designs are so bland and uninspired most of the time. These items seem to have a life of their own and one wrong move; the design takes a sinister turn. This guy learned this the hard way, but upon closer inspection, we think they deserved it.
This statue wasn’t built as a candlestick, and as much as necessity is the mother of invention, the fellow responsible for this didn’t think things through. The result is a shocking revelation that leaves little to the imagination. Can you imagine trying to explain this scene to your parents at dinner?
A Sweaty Palm

This Christmas tree is probably one of the most iconic items of this region, but those lights don’t make things easy for some people. The color scheme is on point, but the designers should have taken some time to study their handiwork in detail before setting it up.
At this point, it’s probably too late to take it down, and we’d recommend embracing the flop. After all, it is the festive season, and we doubt anyone would get upset at an honest mistake. On the other hand, we must all agree that a palm tree is probably not the best candidate for a Christmas tree.
Unique Christmas Shopping

Many of us save up for the festivities to make merry with friends and family and decorate our homes. As such, it isn’t surprising that someone would hit the stores to get themselves something that will make their tree stand out from the rest during the holiday season, and if this image is anything to go by, this person won.
This strangely designed ornament looks like a slithering serpent which, while to some it might tickle their fantasies, to others it’s outright creepy. Also, we can’t ignore the fact that the object looks almost like a ghostly tadpole. While it may certainly look different, we don’t think this ornament really captures the Christmas spirit.
Strange Santa Hand Placement

During Christmas, it is customary to see people donning their favorite festival-themed outfits, with hoodies, sweaters, t-shirts, and pants all in ample supply to satisfy the massive demand. Yet, we think these pants are a bit off in their design, and we don’t believe this person would be comfortable wearing them outside of their home.
It seems like good old Santa’s hand is out of place, and it’s hilarious where it popped up. Maybe the store has a return policy where she can get the pants replaced, and all we can hope for is that there aren’t many more defective reach-me-downs out there.
Not What We Expected

One way to know when the festivities are upon us is to visit a mall. The employees in the shopping places start spreading the holiday cheer early on, decorating the area, ready for the customers to begin thronging in for their shopping. While we get the idea of beautifying the place with some pups, this particular one backfired hilariously.
Replacing the dog’s tail with a Christmas tree was clearly not a good idea, and it looks hideous, to say the least. Sadly, we cannot un-see this and hope that management sorted the mess out in good time. We’re sure until this display stayed up, several passersby must’ve had a good laugh.
Too Festive

We have seen some strange Christmas decorations in the past, but this is at the top of the list. The person who posted this image immediately noticed that something was wrong with the whole ornament, but interestingly, their mum didn’t see anything weird about it.
Now, it could be that the person was overthinking the whole thing, which we doubt, and we think this display shouldn’t be anywhere near a Christmas tree. On the other hand, we wonder what the people who created it had in mind. While we might take the smiles the figurines have for happiness during the festival; their positions are a bit off.
Spotted Christmas Gift

Boxing Days are fun; many people get to unwrap the gifts Santa or their friends brought along for being good people throughout the year. While some say it’s the thought that counts when giving someone a present, we wonder what the thinking behind this red, splattered mug was.
Maybe the person loves sipping cranberry juice from a coffee mug, or they like the color red, and they mostly pair it with white; we’ll never know. Still, we don’t think it was appropriate, but again, it’s the thought that counts, right? Also, we all need to believe, as per the message on the cup. Perfect for the merry season, despite those red splashes.
Santa For Bad Children

Growing up, we’re constantly told that we’d only get gifts from Mr. Santa if we had been good children, but if this picture is anything to go by, there might be a Santa that deals with the naughty kids too. This one looks like he eats up all the misbehaving children and saves them in his beard for all to see.
While the trick might work in getting the young ones to be on their best behavior, we think it’s a bit in bad taste and wouldn’t go down well with some parents. Anyway, it’s still a nice piece of art, save for the ghost-like child faces therein.
One Interesting Christmas Table Discussion
There’s nothing like having the entire family over for a delicious Christmas dinner – it’s truly a fantastic opportunity to catch up on what everyone’s been up to or simply just chat about how the house looks great with the decorations put up – except if the styling looks like the one in the image here.
Apparently, grandma didn’t get the memo that this was supposed to be a wholesome event. Yet, let’s not judge her too harshly, though, since there’s a chance she didn’t know the art of folding table napkins properly. Regardless, one can be sure this will go down in their family’s history as the dinner no one will ever forget.
