We admit it: certain perks of the celebrity lifestyle make us look upon the limits of our drab existence with dissatisfaction. Between the luxury clothes, cars, and houses they can afford, to the more extravagant bits like the private jets and yachts, there is no shortage of reasons to hope longingly for a lifestyle even remotely similar to theirs. For what it’s worth – we are confident that their financial advisers were not amused by the not-always-so-smart ‘investments.’ But when you are the world’s biggest star, luxury is a necessity. Why? Because you do not have to worry about boring a hole through your bank account to afford the luxury, while the rest of us are stuck either taking a cheap flight or struggling with auto insurance. Makes you think about the state of affairs in the world, doesn’t it? Here are 40 jaw-dropping private jets and yachts that celebrities get to enjoy.

Gisele Bündchen & Tom Brady – Gulfstream G550, Estimated $50 Million

Flying back and forth on charter flights from Brady and Gisele’s LA home to their various jobs in Boston and Paris must be quite the commute for the couple. Combined with visiting Gisele’s Sao Paulo-based family, it seems like the Brazillian supermodel opted for going private with good reason. We’re sure that Brady didn’t mind trading in commercial flights with his team mates for a ride in the sleek black Gulfstream Jet, but we certainly hope that Gisele purchased the G550 with the help of an independent financial advisor. We’ve seen the paper work on car insurance, so just think of the jet equivalent of that.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather –  Gulfstream IV, Estimated $40 Million

Having one private jet is a luxury accompanied with being an undefeated boxing champion – but having a Gulfstream IV and V, both worth an estimated $40 million, only provides validation for having a middle name like “Money.” Sure, Floyd Mayweather needs room to accommodate his 14-person entourage, and perhaps a little privacy when visiting his homes (yes, homes) and attending private meetings. But we can only imagine what mysteries lie within his bank account if ‘Money’ can afford not one, but two private jets.

Jim Carrey – Gulfstream V, Estimated $59 Million

Hollywood sweetheart and funny man, Jim Carrey demonstrates his savvy business side by offering his Gulfstream V for charter at $8,000 an hour. The avid aviation enthusiast purchased the 16-passenger aircraft for about $59 million but doesn’t use the jet on a daily basis. Now, that should make his financial adviser happy.

Eric Clapton – Va Bene, Estimated $12 Million

When English rock and blues guitarist singer/songwriter, Eric Clapton decided he wanted to have the Va Bene all to himself, nobody was surprised. Apparently, he used to charter the boat in 2005 and loved it – and we can all see why. The 156-ft vessel is a beauty and can accommodate up to 12 people at once.  And if he’s as good with the boat as he is with the guitar, he and the Va Bene should have a swell time conquering strange waters.

J.K. Rowling – Amphitrite Yacht, Estimated $28 Million

J.K. Rowling’s Amphitrite $28-million yacht used to be owned by Johnny Depp and now ex-wife Vanessa. The luxury boat came fully equipped with water-ski, windsurf, kayak and snorkeling tools, including a home cinema and satellite TV, giving credence to the nine crew members on board hired to help with its maintenance. Giving up ownership must have been hard for Depp, but better spousal banter than bankruptcy, right? He can always buy other yachts. However, Rowling seemed more than glad to take this one off his hands

Taylor Swift – Dassault Falcon 900, Estimated $40 Million

Taylor Swift’s two Dassault Falcon jets are evidence that there are numerous perks to being a pop country princess. If you were one, then you would probably buy a private jet, estimated to cost $40 million dollars and paint your favorite number on the nose of the aircraft – like Taylor did the number 13 on the Falcon 900. And then, buy a second Falcon 50 for shorter flights at only $6 million dollars.

Nicholas Cage – Sarita, Estimated $20 Million

A while back, Nicholas Cage seemed to dive headlong into near-bankruptcy, buying just about everything that caught his fancy. At the peak of the spending spree, he purchased four yachts reportedly costing about $20 million each. Even though he eventually had to sell a majority of these purchases to pay off his debts and tax bills, we are glad he kept the Sarita. The beauty offers six cabins and accommodation for at least 12 people. It also has six decks and a full wet bar with water sports equipment and a first class crew for good measure. It was certainly worth all the heat Cage had initially come under.

John Travolta – Boeing 707, Estimated $4.5 Million

John Travolta takes it a notch higher than merely being an aircraft owner. His fleet includes a Bombardier 601, two Boeings – a 727 and another 7073, and three Gulfstream jets – estimated to be worth about $50 million in total. All this considered, it should come as no surprise that he also has a pilot’s license and is an honorary pilot of the Australian airline company – Qantas.

THE EDGE – The Cyan, Estimated $12 Million

The Edge and his bandmates share a mutual love for boating – so his ownership of The Cyan is no surprise. Built in 1997 by Italian Codecasa, the  48.7-meter-long superyacht has been kept in such great condition that U2‘s David Evans loved it enough to pay $12 million dollars for it – not that his bank account is complaining or anything. The vessel has one of the best outdoor cinemas known to anyone.

BONO – Kingdom Come, Estimated $22 Million

Like his band mate, U2 leading man Bono appears to have a knack for all things ‘yacht.’ Even though he has a jet, the Kingdom Come is both his pride and joy and a generously spacious and luxurious way to entertain over 15 guests. The 198-ft yacht features a master suite, large deck, vintage European décor and gold plated furniture – quite ideal for the boat’s 17-person crew, but a small horror for its property insurance provider.

Neymar – Cessna 680, Estimated $10 Million

Neymar’s Cessna 680 has all of us wondering the same thing – why can’t we all be Soccer, Superstars? The aircraft, which seats 12 passengers and comes fully decorated with white leather seats and fully stocked bars is perhaps worth the mortgage he’s paying for it. Apparently, during an ongoing tax evasion investigation, his first jet, along with a few other assets had been frozen, but the 25-year-old football player couldn’t survive the wait and took out a mortgage for his second Cessna.

Roberto Cavalli – Baglietto Yacht, Estimated $40 Million

Like its owner, the Baglietto yacht is a mega burst of colors. Custom built to suit the aesthetic preference of its fashion mogul owner – Roberto Cavalli, the 134-ft long vessel is painted in rainbow chrome colors and accommodates up to eight guests as well as four crew members that participate in the boat’s maintenance.

Justin Bieber – Gulfstream G4, Estimated $60 Million

Justin Bieber’s Gulfstream G4 is a testament to the well-known fact that the singer likes to live it up. The $60-million private jet came fully decked with an entertainment system, small kitchen, and just enough space to accommodate 14 friends – because, as we all know, the Biebs likes to throw a few wild parties now and then.

Seth MacFarlane – Gulfstream, Estimated $50 Million

One look at Seth Macfarlane’s Gulfstream would leave you in awe of how kind the comedy gods have been to him. The creator of Ted, American Dad, and the fully animated Family Guy, Seth splurged on the $50-millon jet and is generous enough to share it with fellow legend Micheal J. Fox.

Jay Z – Bombardier Challenger 850, Estimated $40 Million

The A-list couple shares the Bombardier Challenger 850 Learjet for their frequent travels. Originally, it was Beyonce’s Father’s Day gift to her husband, Jay Z. Customized to suit their hectic schedules, the private jet is a fully furnished flying apartment with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. It’s a far cry from any charter flight alternative they might consider.

Larry Page & Sergey Brin – Boeing 767-200, Estimated $40 Million

The ‘Google Jet’ is aptly named by Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. The luxurious Boeing 767-200 is a 50-seater aircraft with 15 first class seats for the higher ups, two staterooms, and a large sitting and dining areas. Most interesting about the private jet, however, is that its owners acquired two years of landing rights, at the NASA owned Moffet Field. The exclusive field has only been recently opened to private aircraft.

Sergio Garcia – Hawker 850, Estimated $16 Million

The stylish Hawker 850 is a comfortable way for Sergio Garcia to fly to his tournaments in comfort – or anyone else for that matter. With an original 8-passenger capacity, the Hawker certainly provides more room for the world renowned Spanish golfer to unwind than a charter flight can. We agree that the $16-millon purchase was definitely worth the splurge.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs – The Maraya, Estimated $65 Million

Never mind that it’s called The Maraya, Diddy’s lush private yacht is anything but a prison escort. The vessel is part time home to one of the biggest names in hip-hop, but also his venue for grand parties organized by his 10-person staff. It features nearly everything to get a party started – from a built-in bar to a party floor for guests to get their groove on.

Tiger Woods – Gulfstream G550, Estimated $53.5 Million

Maybe one luxury vehicle is enough for regular people, but Tiger certainly doesn’t agree. Besides his yacht, the renowned golfer boasts of a Gulfstream G550 that seats 18 passengers and provides multiple spacious bathrooms and dining areas for additional comfort. But the G550 goes even further by being capable of flying 12,000 km nonstop for more than 12 hours, making it ideal even for longer trips.

Harrison Ford – Cessna 680 Sovereign, Estimated $18 Million

Harrison Ford appears to be another Hollywood legend with a penchant for flying contraptions. We can only attribute his love for Aircraft on his Star Wars experience, but it makes sense that a long-time qualified pilot has a little collection of over $28 million. His 8-aircraft fleet includes everything from an Aviat A-1B Husky to a Cessna 680 Sovereign. The transcontinental jet seats up to 12 passengers and is popular for flying long distances.

Giorgio Armani – Main, Estimated $60 Million

You would think that Giorgio Armani has his sights set on being the fashion powerhouse designer that he is known for, but Armani spends his money on concerns much different from textured fabric and colored thread. His custom made 65-meter long Codecasa yacht took over a year to build and provides guest accommodations for 12, fully decked with a gym and cinema.

Peter Jackson – Gulfstream G550, Estimated $68 Million

Being the busy bee that he is, Peter Jackson purchased the long-range Gulfstream G550 to shuttle between movie locations, without stopping midway for refueling. The aircraft seats 19 but offers sleeping accommodations for up to eight. It also provides a unique studio space for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit creator to work on his films during his commute. This resonates with everyone: successful movie directors are time-savvy after all.

Diane von Fürstenberg – Eos, Estimated $100 Million

If you were a world renowned fashion designer married to a movie and media billionaire husband, it would make sense that you purchase a luxury yacht in which to host the lavish Hollywood fashion and style parties expected of a fashion legend. Regardless of the undeniable reality, however, feel free to live vicariously through Diane Von Furstenberg and Barry Diller, with their three-mastered Bermuda rigged schooner designed by Bill Lagan and Francois Catroux. The boat provides accommodations for 18 guests and 21 crew members – and is the dream of every ‘yacht-owner’ hopeful. What do you think their financial adviser has to say?

Billy Joel – Vendetta, Estimated $1.2 Million

Billy Joel’s Vendetta might seem modest for a music legend, but don’t be fooled – the award- winning singer, has such a passion for boats that he has successfully accumulated five yachts and boasts ownership of all of them at once. Nonetheless, the 57-ft Vendetta is admittedly his favorite and equipped with every piece of modern tech imaginable. Apparently, he had a few things to contribute when it was being designed by Zurn Yacht, who managed to produce something adequate for Joel’ s commutes, as well as a little writing and thinking.

Angelina Jolie – Cirrus SR22, Estimated $650K

Angelina Jolie’s’ Cirrus SR22 plane might not seem like a large enough vehicle to take her big family on a joy ride, but the Oscar-winning actress can dash off to a meeting or two while escaping LA traffic. Having obtained her pilot’s license recently, the mother of 6 won’t have to worry about being away from her babies for too long.

Celine Dion – Bombardier Global Express, Estimated $42 Million

Celine Dion’s spacious all-leather Bombardier Global Express is the perfect way for the music legend to travel across the globe in style. The jet seats 8 to 14 passengers and comes fully equipped with bathrooms and matching designer furniture. And it’s only expected that traveling for tours and performances around the globe means that the crooner’s jet crew includes a private chef. We wonder if her mansions’ property insurance premiums equal the insurance cost for her jet.

Steven Spielberg – Seven Seas, Estimated $184 Million

Even though Steven Spielberg is reportedly thinking about giving up his massive yacht, Seven Seas, it cannot go without being acknowledged. However, seeing as the Hollywood giant filmmaker is still the owner of a 282-ft yacht built by Nuvolari Lenard, it is easy to understand his intention of giving up one of the massive vessels. The latter luxury yacht features an infinity pool with a 15-ft glass wall that can be converted into a cinema screen. It also accommodates 12 people and includes a helicopter pad, gym, and spa.

Tracy McGrady – Falcon 2000, Estimated $27 Million

Tracy McGrady admits that his savings habit paid off in the form of this business jet. The former NBA superstar is the proud owner of a Falcon 2000 worth about $20 million and uses it for domestic runs, trips, and occasionally serves the McGrady family and their NBA friends.

Mark Cuban – Gulfstream V, Estimated $40 Million

Perhaps if you were a billionaire team-owner like Mark Cuban, it would make sense to spend $40 million on a purchase that saves you both time and the bother of hopping on and off from a charter flight to a charter yacht. The Gulfstream V also doubles as a means of transport for the Dallas Mavericks, and a way to make a few extra millions from charter flights.

Tyler Perry – Gulfstream III, Estimated $125 Million

It is no surprise that Tyler Perry’s customized Gulfstream III is a ‘flying theater’ with an entertainment library, media center, and several big screens to boot. To top things off, the famed filmmaker and comedian installed an automated glass that can be controlled electronically. Considering that the basic version of a Gulfstream III is about $65 million, we would rather not guess how much the modified version had cost to be customized. But if the money in your bank account is easily half a billion, then it wouldn’t matter in the least bit.

Phil Mickelson – Gulfstream V, Estimated $60 Million

Even though Phil Mickelson has a flying tour bus with which he could unwind and relax in preparation for the US Open and PGA tour, the pro golfer’s demanding PGA tour schedule swayed him to purchase a $60-million Gulfstream V, complete with Internet access and accommodations for up to 14 passengers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger – Gulfstream III, Estimated $35 Million

When actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger bought his Gulfstream III and stripped it to its bare necessities, we were quite confident that aviation enthusiasts were cringing in pure horror. Regardless, the minimalism saved him $30 million in cost and a few dollars on insurance payments (which he can use instead for his car insurance). Schwarzenegger didn’t need the bling as he bought the jet only for commuting from his home in LA to Sacramento (and back) when he served as governor of California.

Bill Gates – Bombardier BD-700 Global Express, Estimated $40 Million

Bill Gates’ Bombardier BD-700 Global Express is packed with every possible technological advancement known to man, including the cutting edge Rockwell Collins Proline Fusion suite that provides error-free navigation for good measure. The Microsoft founder and one of the richest men in the world certainly lives like his bank account is the largest in the world, with his $40-million purchase of the vessel in 2007.

Magic Johnson – Gulfstream G-III, Estimated $40 Million

Magic Johnson’s Gulfstream G-III  is no ordinary private jet. The aircraft serves as a means of transport as well as a meeting room for the Basket Baller who seemed to make the transition to business mogul quite nicely. Regardless of the transition, however, the NBA Hall of Famer remains a basketball lover at heart – naming the N32MJ jet after himself and his Jersey number (sounds familiar?).

Oprah Winfrey – Global Express XRS, Estimated $42 Million

It is good to know that Oprah Winfrey not only travels the world doing good but commutes in style while performing her charitable acts. Her Global Express XRS VIP business jet by Bombardier Aerospace provides seating for a small entourage of ten and additional room for in-flight necessities like a bathroom, dining, and rest areas. Fabricated in leather from top to bottom, the Express is everything the entertainment mogul deserves for her hitch-free trips.

Tom Cruise – Gulfstream IV, Estimated $36 Million

Apparently, Tom Cruises’ role in Top Gun left him with a mild craving for aviation, so the award-winning actor ran out and got himself a Gulfstream IV worth $36 million, with just enough room to accommodate 19 passengers and two crew members. Are you considering a different career path yet?

Tiger Woods – Privacy Yacht, Estimated $20 Million

Tiger’s Privacy seems like an attempt at escaping his very public and messy divorce. But considering that the luxury yacht is up to 47 meters in length and can host up to 21 people, we have to wonder if the world renowned golfer was going for ‘privacy’ or ‘boat party.’ Nonetheless, the vessel offers the guests a gym, theater, and a Jacuzzi in the sky-lounge bar where Tiger can just while away the time, maybe from the prying eyes of the public, but not necessarily ‘privately.’

Beyonce’ & Jay Z – Galactica Star, Estimated $70 Million

It’s a good time to wish you were married to Jay Z because, after a week’s stay on the Galactica Star worth $900k, the rapper decided to purchase the 213-ft yacht for his darling wife. The vessel features 12 custom built VIP rooms and everything from a sundeck, to a duplex beach club, and helipad. All of these would have been tough for Beyonce to maintain if it wasn’t for the 13-crew and service staff members who help them out while they lounge away in their master suite with private balcony.  Worth $70 million, the yacht must be quite popular with property insurance providers, much to the horror of their insurance attorney.

Rihanna – Latitude Yacht, Estimated $300K Per Week

What a better way to rest after a tour, than on a $300K per week superyacht? There is none; at least according to Rihanna. She embarked on a journey to the French Riviera sailing on this 172-foot long Latitude yacht. According to the reports, the yacht has a total of two dressing rooms, a private studio with its own bathroom, as well as a beauty and massage salon. So far, Rihanna’s earned herself a $400-million fortune. Given that she’s just released the song called Believe It in 2020, her fortune should only go upwards!

David & Victoria Beckham – SeaFair Yacht, Estimated $4 Million

They’ve been known to enjoy vacating at sea, so when David and Victoria Beckham splashed out $4 million buying their very own SeaFair yacht, it was somewhat to be expected. In fact, David was even featured on a SeaFair commercial in 2016! Theirs, however, is slightly smaller than the one in which he filmed the ad. It’s still quite lengthy though, stretching 94 feet. It also comes with a gym, two crew-cabins, and a salon. Meanwhile, it can comfortably accommodate eight guests and travel with speeds of up to 40 mph.

Mariah Carey – Capri Superyacht, Estimated $340K Per Week

She’s a walking diva. Mariah Carey’s earned herself a $320 million fortune with her singing. Fittingly enough, she’s also been fortunate enough to spend entire summers on her Capri superyacht. For $340K a week, Mariah and her almost nine-year-old twins get to live out their downtime on this gigantic yacht. It boasts a gym, a jacuzzi, a seating area with a bar, and even a library. Though she and James Packer have broken up, Mariah’s career wasn’t at all affected. She had her Butterfly Returns residency show from 2018 to 2020.

Michael Jordan – Gulfstream IV, Estimated $3.5 Million

Taking a cue from fellow Sports man Floyd Mayweather, Micheal Jordan revels in his ownership of a Gulfstream IV, which, we safely assume, was purchased in cash and not through loans. You couldn’t miss the blue jet even if you were trying. The plane’s tail and plate number feature the famous ‘Jumpman’ logo and ‘N236MJ’ – the Basketballer’s initials, his jersey number, and his NBA title wins – because, what is a  jet if you can’t show it off?

Kendall Jenner – Axioma, Estimated $271k-A-Week

After working hard for weeks and posting lovely pictures on social media, model/influencer Kendall Jenner likes to take some time to relax. And what better way to chill than by renting a 65 million British Pound superyacht to spend some quality time in the company of your superstar friends? According to Burgess Yachts, the Axioma can be rented for roughly $271K per week and features spa facilities, a fully-equipped gym, a bridge-deck Jacuzzi, and an infinity pool. And if you’re Kendall, it also comes with the company of celebrities in the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Hailey Baldwin, and the Hadid sisters.

Elle Macpherson – Madsummer, Estimated $1.5 Million-A-Week

Reportedly, Australian model/TV host Elle Macpherson spent about $350K to rent this billion-dollar superyacht. But the rightfully-named Madsummer is now being rented for a mad amount of roughly $1.5 million per week, making it one of the most expensive superyachts out there! Whether it’s worth it or not, we will let you be the judge of that! Macpherson certainly enjoyed her time aboard the Madsummer, with ex-husband Jeffrey Soffer, a real estate tycoon. This luxurious yacht comes with a 12-meter swimming pool, a diving area, a helipad, and, believe it or not, a beach club with a sea terrace!

Michelle Rodriguez – Ecstasea, Estimated $753k-A-Week

Actress Michelle Rodriguez is known for playing the female lead in major action blockbusters, but she likes to spend her vacation time like a true royal princess. Such includes renting a superyacht to enjoy the sun and the sea with all the comfort a Hollywood A-Lister deserves. The outstanding Ecstasea was initially built for Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire best-known as Chelsea F.C.’s owner. Oddly enough, Abramovich grew tired of the “humble” yacht, which comes with a spa, gym, and two helipads. It can now be rented for $125K per day and $753 per week, even though Rodriguez reportedly paid less for her time aboard.

Heidi Klum – Christina O, Estimated $634K a Week

Heidi Klum’s worth $90 million by now. When she got married to Tom Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel in 2019, they had their wedding reception on a legendary yacht. Over the years, the yacht changed many hands, but most importantly, it used to belong to the Onassis family in the past century. It’s called Christina O and mainly functions for luxurious cruises along the Mediterranean Sea. Meanwhile, renting it can go as high as $634K a week! It might be an old yacht, but it’s also one of the world’s longest, as it stretches 325 feet long. In 2020, Heidi started the 15th season of Germany’s Next Top Model.

Elton John – $500 Million

Another music legend with a massive fortune is Elton John. This incredibly gifted singer/composer, who comes all the way from the UK, began creating music almost 50 years ago. Widely recognized as the most successful solo artist in music history, Elton has sold more than 300 million records so far, but he is probably best known for his record-breaking single from 1997 Candle in the Wind. In addition to singing and touring, he has been contributing to his massive net worth of $500 million by composing music for films and also through his work on Broadway. Despite the fact that he is now in his early 70’s and more than well off, Elton John doesn’t seem to be ready for retirement just yet.
