Cheryl Ladd – 67 – $8 Million

Another of Charlie’s angels is still so kick-butt beautiful and in demand! Cheryl Ladd, 67, has gotten a role on the new 2018 season of  NCIS, to play the love interest of Ducky – David McCallum’s character. In the meantime, a new trio of femme fatale is scheduled to play the angels’ roles in a planned reboot of the Charlie’s Angels series. It seems like fans never get tired of the characters. Ladd with her pretty smile, earned her wings on the ’70s series after one of the ladies bowed out. But she’s never looked back since.

 

Catherine Zeta-Jones – 48 – $45 Million

Catherine Zeta-Jones has starred in several blockbuster movies hits over the years and has had an amazing career run. However, things took a turn when husband actor Michael Douglas was diagnosed with tongue cancer back in 2010. She stepped back from acting to deal with that family crisis. They must have had some excellent medical insurance, but the ensuing stress resulted in Catherine herself becoming severely depressed. However, Michael is now well again and the family is finding their happiness once more.

It seems that Maureen McCormick has been a Brady all her life! This family, albeit a fictitious television one, has been a part of the American landscape since the ’70s, from the original The Brady Bunch, to the movies and the reboot, and so has McCormick. The actress has been active over the years on various projects. One recent one is a voice-over for Cold Turkey, and she was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars in 2016. We figure she must have had an injury insurance policy backing her.

In a career spanning more than six decades, Loretta Lynn has released numerous albums that went gold. Now in her eighties, she’s not ready to stop.  Her newest, soon to be released album is entitled, Wouldn’t it Be Great. That album should have been released in 2017, but this was put off ’till 2018 because the singer had a stroke a few months before the scheduled release date. Lynn has a ranch in Tennessee known as Tennessee’s “7th Largest Attraction,” as well as a house in Mexico …and a lot of property insurance.

Faith Hill – 50 – $80 Million

Faith Hill is winning the anti-aging fight that many women half her age are losing. We wish we knew her secret, but in her 50s, this lady seems to have slowed down time. A popular country and western music singer, her albums have sold in the millions. And to add to her list of chart-toppers, she and husband Tim McGraw are currently doing their Soul2Soul World Tour. They also recently collaborated on an album called, The Rest Of Our Lives. Maybe they will just make it after all.

Trisha Yearwood – 53- $45 Million

Trisha Yearwood is known for her beauty, and for being a  soulful singer. Married to Garth Brooks, the two have been making sweet country music together for years. And at 53, she’s looking settled and happy. Yearwood’s successful singing career and television performances are what fills her bank account, thanks in part to their ability to connect with their audience. Earlier in 2018, she and husband Garth Brooks performed the final set together at Stagecoach. They brought that stagecoach home!

Linda Ronstadt – 72 – $115 Million

Linda Ronstadt’s ability to move through the various musical genres in her body of work was outstanding. And the numerous awards she has won underscores her noteworthy talent.  Her estimated earnings from her album Hummin’ to Myself is $100K and for her compilation album, The Very Best of Linda Ronstadt is $500K. Unfortunately, she’s been absent from the music industry since 2013, because she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

Martina McBride – 51 – $38 Million

Martina McBride is a known name in country music. From the release of her first studio album, The Time Has Come in 1992, she’s sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Her next album, The Way That I Am and it went platinum; in fact, to date, five of her albums have gone platinum while two have gone double platinum. What a musical inheritance for future singers! It was country crooner Garth Brooks, who gave her the big break, by allowing her to open his concert for him one day. Life hasn’t been the same since.

Carrie Underwood – 35 – $85 Million

Carrie Underwood shot to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol. Her sweet voice and fresh-faced country girl appeal brought her the victory. Since then, she’s had tremendous success, evidenced by a net worth of $85 million! She’s released six studio albums, has a line of nail polish and athletic wear. The 35-year-old is currently working on more new music for fans. Recently, she returned to American Idol as a guest mentor to contestants. That must have been an awesome sense of achievement for her.

Lori Singer – 60 – $500K

Lori Singer’s first love was the cello. She was a child prodigy and was accepted at Julliard Performing Arts School at the age of only fourteen. Singer, however, was inspired by a family member to switch to acting instead. Maybe she was also playing the role of financial advisor here as well. But whatever the reason Lori did, and first got her own taste of fame from Footloose, playing Ariel Moore. Her last appearance was in 2016 in the award-winning documentary, God Knows Where I Am.

Sigourney Weaver – 68 – $4 Million

Dubbed the Sci-Fi Queen, Sigourney Weaver is in her late 60s, although just by looking at her, you’d never think that even with the hint of wrinkles. She acted in movies like Ghostbusters, Aliens, and Half Moon Street, among others. Her long-held philosophy concerning these has been that if life didn’t leave you some, you weren’t doing something right. Despite her long, distinguished career in acting, she holds a degree from Stanford University, and one from Yale, which makes us admire her even more.

Charlize Theron earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005. That was a proud moment for her, as everything she’d done in her career in films like The Cider House Rules, and Meet Joe Young, was capsulized in that one moment. Charlize is an active advocate for PETA and women’s rights, as well as a large supporter of gay marriage. She has managed to maintain her looks through a healthy diet.

Nia Long – 47 – $15 Million

Maybe it’s just a boring case of good DNA, for sure, Nia Long wasn’t sent here by Aliens attempting to take over the earth, by distracting us with the rich hot members of their species. But for real, Nia Long is one of those actresses that look good despite getting older. We just don’t know how they do it. Her breakout role was on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air way back in the early ’90s. Today, her latest projects are roles in NCIS: Los Angeles and Netflix’s Roxanne Roxanne.

Katie Couric – 61 – $75 Million

Katie Couric may face aging with humor, and maybe that’s why she still looks good. But when it comes to her work, she doesn’t joke. This media and television personality has had a long run on TV, including hosting the Today show. Her talk show Katie closed in 2014, so she took up a position at Yahoo as its global anchor, with earnings of $10 million. She did this successfully, but at the moment, she works with Yahoo! News on a project basis only, while expanding her own production company.

Mariska Hargitay – 54 – $50 Million

The Law & Order: SVU star has had to keep her fitness level high over the years, to be able to still chase bad guys on Law & Order: SVU. This is especially since she’s 54. Mariska has admitted that some sagging has started to creep in on her. But she offsets their presence with having amazing children, who helped cause it, and an amazing husband. She earns $45K per episode of Law & Order.

Tina Fey – 48 – $65 Million

Funny woman Tina Fey, got her start on the comedic Saturday Night Live many years ago. Among the acting roles that she’s had since is the totally hilarious sitcom, 30 Rock. She also did her one-woman live comedy shows around the country. But Tina went back to her roots to SNL to guest host recently. It was comedy gold! After all, this is what Tina does best. It’s what gave her a net worth of $65 million so far also. For now, she’ll continue to dispense advice from her bestseller, Bossypants.

Samantha Fox – 52 – $20 Million

Wow, can Samantha Fox sing! This British singer, actress, and songwriter has been at it from age 16. She got her start by habitually appearing topless in The Sun, a tabloid in Britain, and thus became one of the most photographed ladies of her time. She’s been a television presenter and made appearances in television shows as well. Scandal touched her life when she accused her father of mismanaging her personal accounts. More than a decade later, he died, and they were not on speaking terms. We hope he had life insurance.

Ann Margret – 77 – $20 Million

Ann Margret’s career started at 20th Century Fox. They signed her for a contract that lasted seven years. Her film debut came through what was called a  ‘loan out’ to United Artists for Pocketful of Miracles. It was for her and Bette Davis (maybe that contract came with ‘loan’ insurance?’). The movie was a remake of the 1933 movie Lady For A Day. In 1962, Ann played the part of the bad girl in State Fair. She’d auditioned to play the good girl, but the studio executives thought she was too seductive.

It’s almost impossible to comprehend that singer and actress Mary J. Blige is in her late 40s now. The legendary star can still pass for a woman in her early 30s. Other than her talents, she’s known for defying age and looking healthy. Her secret lies in nothing else but how she treats herself everyday. The nominee for two Academy Awards told the media that she never gives up on her cardio and that routine has only made her stronger every year. Seeing Mary J. Blige looking so fit, we wish we could age this beautifully as well!

Melissa Sue Anderson – 55 – $3 Million

American-Canadian actress Melissa Sue Anderson continues to be a charmer! She found fame as cute little Mary Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie, in the ’70s, and at 55, she continues to turn heads even as a mom. Anderson had wanted to be a dancer as a child, but her dance instructor convinced her that acting would bring her more money. And look at her today. Now, what we all want to know is what anti-aging product could get us looking like she does!

Suzanne Somers – 71 – $100 Million

Suzanne Somers became TV’s darling when she played the funny, ‘dumb-blonde’ Chrissy Snow in the ’70s sitcom, Three’s Company. Back in 2001, she had breast cancer and underwent alternative treatments. We’re not sure if health insurance covers them, but Somers credits her recovery to these treatments. So deep was her belief that she has been promoting alternative cancer treatments since. She even has a book out about the topic. But however she got cured, we’re just happy that this talented lady is now A-OK.

Loni Anderson – 71 – $12 Million

Loni Anderson was unforgettable as blonde bombshell Jennifer Marlowe in the ’70s/’80s sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati. And seeing her today, you’d never guess that she is 72! However, we can’t say that it’s all her because she has admitted to having some cosmetic surgery done. But we won’t hold it against her because she was beautiful to start with; and that’s Hollywood, where women are pressured to spend a fortune on maintaining their youthful glow.

Jane Fonda – 80 – $200 Million

Jane Fonda has been in the industry since the 1960s so don’t be surprised that she already has a $200-million fortune. She is most known for the roles she had on Sunday In New York, Klute, and Coming Home. She currently stars in the show, Grace and Frankie. Fonda has been very open about going under the knife. Some of the procedures she has gotten in the past are breast implants, two facelifts, and eye surgery.

 

 

Melissa Gilbert – 65 – $500K

Melissa Gilbert delighted us in our living rooms each week as Laura Ingalls on the ’70s/’80 television show, Little House on the Prairie. She never left acting and continues to entertain audiences today, even playing Ma Ingalls in the Little House on the Prairie touring music several years ago. But even so, things have not gone as well as she would have liked, and so recently, she’d had to work out a payment plan with the IRS to pay the US government more than $500K in back taxes.

Pauley Perrette – 50 – $22 Million

She might have played in other films and series before, but it wasn’t until Pauley Perrette landed the role of Abby Sciuto in the NCIS series when she really got recognized for her talent. Still, there’s nothing to worry about, as she’s now going to be playing in the Broke series. Through it all, Pauley has always looked flawless.

Catherine Bell – 51 – $15 Million

Come to think about it, more than two decades have gone by since Catherine Bell first landed the role of Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie in the JAG series. However, even after all those years, Catherine looks even better than what she used to back then! Today, she is already 51 years old. She’s been playing in The Good Witch since 2015 as Cassandra Nightingale, a show in which she’s also a co-executive producer. She has had two kids from her marriage to Adam Beason, which lasted between 1994 and 2011.

Lynda Carter first gained popularity back in 1972 when she bagged the title of Miss World America. She later became a notable name in Hollywood when she starred in the Wonder Woman series. She continues to appear in the Supergirl series as U.S. President Olivia Marsdin. There are some allegations that Carter got Botox or a facelift but she always denied such rumors. Either way, she is looking very good despite being in her mid-60s.

Salma Hayek is a Spanish actress who rose to the height of success for playing Frida in the self-titled biographical movie about Frida Kahlo. Although she started her career from Mexico, she made it to Hollywood by landing roles in many movies because of her stellar on-screen presence. Salma Hayek was also a model and her beauty has always been admired. She might be 52 now but it is obvious that Salma has not let age dictate her appearance. The first film for which Jennifer Jason Leigh became widely recognized was Fast Times at Ridgemont High back in the early ‘80s.
