In 2019, this young woman broke the internet after uploading videos of her electric photoshoot at the subway with her video getting millions of views, and rightfully so. Named Jessica George, though her fans know her as je$$, the lady can certainly work the camera lens and we love it.

Honestly, it would be a shame if brands didn’t go for her services after Jessica showed such skill and dedication to her craft. You don’t have to take our word for it; just look up ‘Subway Bae’ to get mesmerized. If you disagree with our sentiments, we are pretty sure you must think we undersold her work.

Waterproof Kicks

Maybe we have been looking at our fight on plastics the wrong way, and it’s time we incorporated more of these things into our daily lives to reduce their circulation in trash cans. This lady here has taken matters into her own hands and wrapped her feet in Saran wrap as she goes about her day.

This sounds like a genius way to navigate the wet season. Besides, who needs those pesky gumboots that are uncomfortable to run in. This method saves on time and money, not to mention comfort. We believe it’s only a matter of time before this genius makes it to the runway.

 

Whatever It Takes

Grooming in public is generally frowned upon, but this lady doesn’t care what other people think. She has decided to shave her legs right at the subway before making her way to her next appointment. We have no idea where she was headed that day, but we feel it was not a job interview.

One thing’s clear, though, she came prepared, considering she had a complete shaving kit at hand – The woman even had shaving foam! Some of us don’t even have that stuff in our bathrooms. We hope the recipient of this gesture was very appreciative because this woman was determined to make a good impression.

 

Angles

Zen knows no place, and this lady embodies this quack mantra of ours. The yogi decided to spread out her yoga mat in the middle of the subway and go on about her session. Maybe she knew she would be late for her class, and she might as well begin.

She definitely knows her way around the yoga studio, considering how well her pose is. Sadly, we doubt her teacher will be happy about this public display of flexibility as the zen code encourages humility and privacy. Nevertheless, we can’t say we are complaining, the young lady put on a good show, and we applaud her dedication.

 

A Moving Presentation

Before Zoom meetings became popular, people had to have face-to-face meetings. Usually, someone would opt for a private space but not these chaps. They say time is money, and these fellows decided to save on both by knocking two birds with one stone.

The suited fellows decided to have a whole meeting in the subway, which might look stupid, but it’s genius. Think about it? Instead of wasting time in the commute staring into nothing, how about using that time productively. On the other hand, this meeting might shave some time off the actual presentation later since the preliminaries are now out of the way.

 

The Final Subway Journey

From what we can tell, this doesn’t look like a scene from a horror film movie, but it is an actual funeral procession taking place in the subway. While we have seen a lot of strange happenings on the transport system, this one beats them all.

Whether the person who passed asked to have their final tube ride in the coffin, we’ll never know, but the procession (or should we call them undertakers) did steal the show at that moment. Also, what’s baffling is, did they have to pay for the casket too? This is as weird as it can get and definitely the most one-of-a-kind funeral that any of us have seen.

DIY Chin Support

Sleeping while standing is one of those things that humans are simply incapable of doing, with that superpower only found in animals like horses. Yet, this woman found a way to rest her chin and get some much-needed rest in the subway, and we must say it’s as unconventional as it is brilliant.

The lady’s walking stick has a gadget which she uses to rest her chin when she’s napping while standing! That is in no way an easy thing to do, and we wonder how comfortable and steady is that stick? Chances are she woke up feeling a bit sore on her jaws, but considering that she also got some nap time, it was all worth it, we think.

Barrack’s Doppelganger

Imagine being the look-alike of the former President of the United States? Genetics pulled a fast one on this man who looks like a carbon copy of Barrack Obama, and at first glance, we bet many people were wondering what the former national leader was doing in the tube.

Too bad for him; we can only imagine the number of autographs he must’ve gotten asked to sign, let alone the photo requests he has had. Perhaps he could put his appearance into good use by going to events as Barrack’s double. The arrangement might work as long as the guy asks for permission first because obviously, we don’t want him getting into any trouble with the authorities.

 

The Subway To Hell

The last time we checked, the subway was open to everyone who wanted to use it, but we didn’t expect the devil to be among the passengers. Why he chose to hitch a ride among ordinary humans is something we might never know, but it is a scary sight nonetheless.

Keeping that in mind, we think it’s best to stay away from this carriage since we have no idea where it could be heading. Also, can we take a moment and acknowledge the calmness of the people around him? None of them seem moved by those glaring red eyes and abnormally large hands.

 

The Suction Hold

Anyone who has ever taken the subway knows that sometimes, the ride can be bumpy and wavy, especially during rush hour when there aren’t any seats left. This woman came up with an ingenious idea, and while it might seem unorthodox and hilarious, it seems to be working.

The young lady had had enough of the railway bumps and decided to use a toilet plunger she had recently bought to hold herself during the journey. The suction works to keep her in place, and this could be an idea that most people need to implement, although it would be weird to see everyone hoisting a plunger over their heads.

 

 

Garbage Train

The garbage truck must have been out of service, and the next best thing was the subway. Nonetheless, trash in the subway kind of makes sense because it is home to all sorts of weird occurrences, so this is right up that alleyway. Having said that, the smell and the stress of getting the trash bags out of the carriage and to where they will be processed must be terrible.

Recycling is a good thing, so we have to admire whoever took their time to pack all that trash and make sure they get to the recycling station. No doubt, the person behind the CCTV camera was shocked when they saw someone hauling a ton of garbage through the station.

 

Girl’s Night Out

No night out would be complete without that iconic party adrenaline-induced slip down a stair or, in this case, an escalator. This slip-up is what good friendship and fun nights are made of, as it takes us back to when times were simpler, and even small random things would make one laugh.

That being said, the lady on the floor does not seem all too thrilled to be there, and we hope she is not hurt. Those girls better have helped their friend pick herself up and gotten on that train because fun nights also require caring friends – Responsible buddies that take care of each other or, in this case, help each other up when they’re down.

Swamp thing must have gotten tired of the ‘DC’ universe and taken a break to come and experience our world. So, what better way to do that than to take the subway, which is basically just a convention for the unexpected.

The transportation experience is an average but profoundly human one that often brings with it surprising fellow commuters. Yet, this picture looks like it is just a person under a costume who wants to get to their Halloween party in peace. The best approach he could come up with was to follow this high-powered train; making the other passengers uncomfortable is just a bonus. We hope whoever was under there was having a good day.

 

Dark Queen Of The Subway

This goth girl has immersed herself totally into the look with dark hair, dark clothing, dark makeup, and an overall grim demeanor. As if all that weren’t enough, she’s even got a raven, firmly solidifying her status as the subway’s undisputed dark queen. We just know the metal detector at the station had a field day when she passed through it because of all those metallic buckles on her.

Our dark queen of the subway seems to have a green bag that contrasts with the whole dark vibe, and we can’t really figure what’s inside it? Let’s assume it’s just some other gothic props to complete her look or perhaps simply just dinner for herself and her feathered companion.

 

Subway Saviour

We know Jesus said he is coming again, but what we did not expect is to see him riding the train. Still, we guess that makes sense because this is not the ancient times that people walked on foot or used horses to travel everywhere.

A notable thing about this Jesus lookalike is that he seems to be taking the entire thing very seriously, even reading what could pass as a Bible. We hope whoever took that picture did not bother our tunic-wearing brother even though he seems not to mind the photo. With the way the man is carrying himself, we’re not entirely sure if he’d appreciate all that attention or not.

 

Baby & Mum Flex

Physical exercise is one of the surefire ways to lead a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, if one wishes to pursue all-rounded wellness, yoga is highly recommended because it revitalizes the mind, body, and soul and offers you spiritual rejuvenation and not just external. Nonetheless, the subway is the last place you would expect to find someone pulling off the latest yoga poses.

This beautiful mum and her bouncing kiddo decided to hit two birds with one stone and combine their ride with some Ananda Balasana, which is coincidentally known as the happy baby pose. Interestingly, the stunt worked, and we can all see the joy in their faces.

 

Butcher On The Subway

Although we usually head to the subway with the sole aim of traveling from one point to another, some innovative folks cannot just ignore the potential of conducting business there. Of course, it’s pretty convenient to pick up your favorite magazine or candy while on the move, but our friends here decided to take on-board shopping a notch higher and stocked meat products.

Some nicely cooked steak is quite a delight to most people, but no one would fancy the idea of riding to work in the morning while breathing in the unpleasant smell of raw flesh. Judging by the serious look on the attendant’s face, it’s likely they even slaughter goats on board.

 

Nosy Commuter

Human beings love being comfortable, even more so when they are resting or taking a nap during travel. Although many public transport means don’t come with VIP cushions and headrests to escort you to slumberland, some innovative passengers like this ingenious lady have invented ways to keep comfortable while sleeping on the move.

The natural human impulse would be to use the arm to support the face, but our heroic woman prefers to pivot her nose on the subway seat bar. Those must be some powerful nasal muscles, or perhaps this poor commuter was simply too exhausted that day to care.

We all wish to be happy, and the media has a way of painting wedding days as the ultimate happiest moment that one could experience with numerous bridal shows, soap operas, and love songs. Nonetheless, like with everything else in life, sometimes this special event goes haywire, and we end up seeing lots of tears and heartbreak instead of roses and cake.

This day was a sad one on the subway when a bride dressed up in all her glory ended up alone, wallowing in self-pity on what was supposed to be her most incredible moment. The groom probably eloped with someone else, and we can imagine the pain this poor young lady is going through.

Although everyone is free to pursue their wildest desires and do whatever makes their heart tickle, some people tend to take it a bit too far. Here we encounter a very attractive, smartly dressed lady until you take a look at her head and realize that there is no face in sight!

We have no idea what this hairstyle is called, but one thing for sure is that the hairdresser must get the creeps whenever this woman walks in. To see her way around, she has matching sunglasses that complete the look of this ultimate scarecrow. So it’s surprising that the other passengers seem unfazed by someone that looks like they’re planning to eat them for dinner.

 

Cake On The Go

At first glance, it seems like this lady is having her cake and eating it too, all while riding on the train. Yet upon closer inspection, one can see that she is actually putting the finishing touches on this baked creation while she is en route to her destination.

We have to admire the dedication and multitasking ability on display here. Subway cars are not the most conducive to any kind of food preparation. Still, it looks like this enterprising baker has complete control of the sticky situation and will probably finish the cake decoration before she gets to her stop – Bravo, ma’am!

 

Santa’s On The Naughty List This Year

That look of consternation on this little boy’s face says it all. He’s just now realizing that the one person he looks forward to visiting and delivering his presents every Christmas is actually nothing more than a fraudster, and it seems the whole world has conspired to promote this deception.

We can almost see the judgmental stares from all other adult passengers on this train as this Santa Claus pretty much destroyed the magic of the holiday for this young one. To make matters worse, it looks like he has an adult beverage in his hand. Thanks for completely shattering the fantasy, dear sir.

 

Sibling Sleepfest

There has to be an explanation for why these brothers (they look like they could be triplets, but we do not know for sure) have the same shirts on. Perhaps there was some kind of skit or public performance, or they were recreating a photo from their childhood?

The boys must really love each other to be going around in public looking like photocopies of each other. That said, the way they snuggled together in this train car and found a way to sleep comfortably is truly admirable. There is strength in numbers, as they say, and these siblings look like they make a formidable group.

 

The Dino Express

These men are on their way to watch a World Cup match featuring their home country, Brazil. No one really knows what dinosaurs have to do with the Brazilian football team, but who cares anyway? These costumes look very entertaining and will definitely make them stand out from the crowd at the stadium.

Alas, the Brazilian team eventually lost this match, but at least these three fans had the time of their lives. We know the people who saw them or who sat around them at the game were treated to Jurassic entertainment as well. All said and done, at least we know that fans’ enthusiasm hasn’t gone extinct yet.

Did Napoleon Bonaparte accidentally stumble onto a wormhole or time machine and get transported to modern times? The costume, the details, and his face are all spot on for the legendary French emperor, and we can just think of the reaction on the other subway passengers’ faces.

While he was on the subway, Napoleon decided to take a quick nap. Who knows, maybe he needed his energy because he had a long journey back to his home. So just let him catch that much-needed sleep before he climbs into his time machine or wormhole and resumes his duties back in old-time France.

We all know how subway rides can sometimes be so crowded, and getting a seat is equivalent to finding a needle in a haystack. So, the smartest thing to do on busy days is to occupy a seat as soon as it gets empty. That’s why this great Dane didn’t let go of the opportunity of having a sitting area for himself either.

Hats off to the dog’s owner, who undoubtedly proved that these furry creatures could do wonders if trained well. Although we can’t tell if people liked the company of such a bulky co-passenger, given the way it is seated calmly, we assume everything went well.

Let’s accept it in today’s fast-paced city life; we have to make every second count if we don’t want to be left behind. However, some people take this theory too seriously, and we end up getting such an image. Well, this is something you don’t get to see often – an angel taking a subway ride back home and a disgruntled one at that. Or maybe she isn’t too pleased about being photographed. Whichever the case, she seems to have traveled the earth and this route quite many times. We wonder how long it has been since this celestial being fell from the heavens above.

On a more serious note, we are curious about her story. Perhaps she’s a loving grandmother who dressed up for her beloved granddaughter’s birthday party. Wouldn’t the little one have been thrilled to get a visit from an angel? Who knows but let’s hope the dear lady made her wish come true.

Beehives are never to be trifled with, ever! This beekeeper who has so nonchalantly brought one along for the ride doesn’t seem to know how unsettling it would have been for the co-passengers. Everyone on that subway that day would have felt that it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Moreover, to make matters even worse, that beehive is held together with a big rubber band of all things. What an excruciatingly long journey it would have been for those around him! Well, it wouldn’t surprise us in the least if a few had exited the subway way before their stations arrived. No one can blame them; it’s better to be safe than sorry.

 

Addicted To Video Gaming

If people at home are nagging you about that video game addiction of yours, here’s another way around it. Take the Xbox and the joystick for a subway ride and continue gaming like this young man in the picture. He has gone to the trouble of packing the entire setup and then setting it up in a carriage.

No wonder kids often get warned against getting addicted to playing games. By the way, how did he plug in the desktop and get it running in the first place? He must be a whiz at technology or someone who’s a serious gamer. Whichever the case may be, the boy could have taken the ride as an excuse to take a break.

We had to double-check to see if it was indeed a turtle the person had on a leash. Given its natural speed, we are confused as to why it would need to get restrained in the first place. It’s not like the pet will go somewhere far within a subway carriage even if the owner falls asleep for the entire ride.

The turtle would probably inch away towards the man sitting beside him; that’s how far it will go. Is he worried the tortoise would have planned a great escape if it wasn’t on a leash, or maybe it’s a habit from when he had a dog as a pet?

While some people love to travel alone, so they don’t have to bother talking, some immensely dislike going anywhere without a friend to make the trip enjoyable. Here is someone who came up with an ingenious idea to never have to take the subway alone.

A custom-made paperman is how you don’t end up alone on a subway carriage. The young man sure did a great job of rustling up all the brown paper in the office and putting it to great use. Isn’t this a great spin-off on the children’s tales where the kids often speak to imaginary friends? The difference lies in the fact that this one is visible.

A person wearing a mask with a creepy smile is not everyone’s idea of a co-passenger. The regulars may find it less bizarre since they must have come across many such travelers, but those taking the subway for the first time or are relatively new to train travel might end up with a few sleepless nights thanks to this gentleman pulling such a prank.

We understand some folks do not like their faces to be visible, but usually, they wear caps or hats for that purpose; even a scarf and dark shades would do the trick. Wearing something so scary is the last thing anyone would think of unless it’s getting done on purpose.

What’s with the suspicious look of the lady on the subway? Look closer, and you can see a beautiful kitten peeping at you from inside her jacket. Are cats not allowed on the train, and she’s sneaking one on the ride? It looks like she is probably daring us to do something about it.

Well, pretty woman, we won’t, as long as it is your feline friend and you are not stealing the little beauty from someone else. Just look how tiny and adorable it is. This kitten is incredibly calm, nuzzled inside the jacket, and surrounded by so many people on a loud moving train. Now we’re wondering if the girl bought a ticket for her stowaway pet?

 

Apologizing With A Large Pizza

Kudos to the guy who is trying to apologize by using a delicious pizza offering. Still, we wonder if that’s enough to assuage whoever he is trying to say sorry to. Also, it depends on what he’s asking forgiveness for, and we guess it’s probably for his girlfriend.

Did he forget her birthday? If he did, a pizza and an ‘I’m Sorry’ written across the inside of the cover wouldn’t make her forgive him, and it’s something she can get by herself. On the other hand, if it’s just a regular day and he is simply apologizing for being late, that’d be acceptable for her, wouldn’t it – We hope so!

While dressing up in fancy clothes is not a requirement to take a subway, we often encounter people wearing bizarre designs. Here’s a head-turner that quite literally is what appears to be a stylish jacket with a collection of beheaded faces of barbie dolls sewn onto it.

A design meant to make people insanely curious or horrified and keep them at a distance. Any co-passenger would think a few times before settling down next to her, and they certainly wouldn’t want the barbie eyes pleading with them for mercy. This Halloween jacket will offer the perfect cover if you are an introvert who doesn’t want anyone approaching you for a friendly chat during travel.

 

Crunchy Appetizer On The Way Home

You have to admit what’s a salad without fresh and crunchy lettuce in it, but would anyone have it as a whole meal or an evening snack – Doubtful! Yet, here is a man caught on a subway with his head immersed into a bag of lettuce, probably too hungry to gingerly tear off a few and chew on them.

Did he have a busy day when the person couldn’t find time for lunch or grab a quick bite before taking the subway? Only the regular passengers who know him will be able to tell if it’s his routine lettuce fix on the ride – what a way to do away with appetizers before reaching home for the main course.

We’re used to seeing people having dogs and cats for pets. Some even have snake pets, but that’s a whole other subject so let’s talk about this baby chicken instead. We’re not sure what she is mad about, but we’d bet it’s not the cheerios but all that unnecessary attention and pampering she must endure.

While some passengers may find the whole thing fascinating, this chicken would rather be pecking at worms and grains in a yard somewhere out there. Too bad that won’t be happening anytime soon since she can’t express herself. Moreover, even if she could, we doubt her human owner would listen. So the poor hen should probably get used to staying pretty in pink for life.

 

Could It Be The Same Person?

What are the chances that two twins wearing the same hoodie and cap would sleep in the same way on the subway? It’d be weirder if the two weren’t related or happened to know each other, so we’ll stick to that first narrative for this photo. If we didn’t see part of the first guy’s hair, we would have written it off as photoshop, but now we can’t unsee it.

Maybe it’s a prank? It would make one think this is the same person in both seats, or it could be their eyes are playing tricks on them, and they’re seeing the same person twice. Sounds absurd, right?

 

A Last-Minute Thing

Not the best sewed alien-themed Halloween costume, but we’ll give it to this woman because she tried. More so if she stitched it herself last minute because who wants to miss a party when they get an invitation? This is a reasonably well-made attempt and we especially love her confidence in the final product not many others would have had in theirs if it didn’t come out as hoped.

An alien hatchling clung to a human’s face doing what aliens in movies do best makes for a particularly spooky last-minute Halloween look. How she is comfortable with that is beyond us, but there are always far worse Halloween costumes every year, yes?

 

Matchy-Matchy!

It most definitely was this young man’s lucky day, given he found the perfect background for his photo. We can understand his excitement when he realized his shirt and the subway seats had similar patterns and immediately decided to pose for a picture to document it. We would also make sure such a huge coincidence goes into our camera record.

The only question would be, where does one get themselves a fabric that matches that of a subway seat? Or is it the other way round? There is no denying that we would love to find out what this feels like, too.

 

Baldies Only

This subway photo reminds us of spots set aside for specific people in some places. Not to dispute that it could have been a coincidence, but what are the odds really! How else would we explain the hairless men seated in one line on one side of the subway?

Given how unbothered these gents seem about their visual similarity, we feel persuaded they must know each other. We may be wrong, though, and these were just regular passengers with things to do and places to be who didn’t realize they were all bald. That said, it’s far more fun to assume there really is a secret club for bald gentlemen, and this group is off to their next meeting together.

 

A Crime Scene Of Its Own

This subway station is unlike any that we have seen before. Mainly because we usually see a clean floor or maybe some litter, but nothing comes close to what we have found lying on the ground in this picture. Yes, that is hair casually lying all over the station.

There can be two possibilities that the floor ended up with hair all over it. Either someone became the victim of a strong gush of wind and their wig flew off, or a few ladies had an argument over something, and a disagreement led to this disaster. For us, both the scenes would’ve been hilarious to watch.

 

Let Me In

Things got a little out of hand when a friendly panda decided to take a tour of the city, and what better way to do that than taking a subway. We are sure that this panda is taking his first ride in a subway, or else he would have known that the doors are made for humans and not for his fluffy body.

All the passengers must be really mad at him for delaying their bus, but there seems to be no way out for the poor chap. Maybe these three gentlemen are trying to push or pull him out of the way, but it would undoubtedly take time, taking into account the size of this thing.

 

Sleep Comes First

We have seen people do all sorts of crazy things on a subway, but this one stands alone and apart. Don’t get us wrong, and it is not the fact that a man is sleeping that is weird because we have seen numerous people snoring and drooling throughout their ride.

Actually, it’s the way this guy decided to put his body to rest that is really making us all cringe. Indeed, this poor fellow is extremely exhausted by a long day at work; otherwise, no one would crawl up on a subway seat like that. This nap will give him two things; his dose of sleep and bad back pain.

 

Determination At Its Best

By the look of this picture, we can see that this man is in love with playing the harp. Therefore, it won’t be wrong to assume that he wants to make a name for himself in the music industry. Moreover, his dedication to being an amazing harp player tells us nothing more than that he seems meant to be in this business.

The man is lucky for sure because not everyone has a passion so valuable to them. He seems so remarkably at peace while playing his harp, and we bet all the other passengers would be enjoying his performance as well. Who doesn’t like some soothing tunes for their ears, right?

 

The Value of Our Privacy

Many of us use the subway as our daily mode of transportation, and that ride is the most challenging part of the day for us. Awkward eye contact, smiling at strangers, nodding our head as if saying hello, and small talks are a few things that we can’t do even to save our lives.

That’s why this message came as a literal lifesaver for many of us who feel socially awkward and prefer remaining in our bubble. The management has respect for our privacy, and we have not seen anyone so considerate about it. So we can just mind our own business and enjoy our ride without any disturbance.
